Anyone want/need a catcher? Austin Nola's about to come off the IL and I've already got 2 top 10 catchers in Contreras and Posey. Happy to discuss trading any of them.
-
You merely adopted the basement. I was born in it, molded by it.
-
Speaking of trash, my team is hot garbage.
-
Trash talking has returned!
-
Sorry for my silence on the board but my team was performing like shit due to injuries and COVID, and I couldn't talk any shit. It's finally coming around though (2nd most points in the last week!), so perhaps you'll be hearing more from me.
-
I don't have it but I am a virtual close contact of Jose Alvarado.
-
Sorry to hear about the covid. are you doing ok?
-
Time to buy low! This might be your third or fourth next to last chance.
-
Dave would probably have an easier time moving Kepler if he didn't insist on trading him to someone who's had COVID.
-
Death, taxes, and David trying to move Max Kepler

anyone like Kepler despite having COVID? make an offer.
-
i might have a shot if deGrom could pitch 400 innings
-
deGrom, 9 k's in a row last night, 14 total. Maybe only deGrom can pitch like deGrom.
-
If Burnes is going to pitch like deGrom all season then I think we're staring at a repeat champion
-
hahaha... no comment
-
I thought there was a house rule that only Framber was allowed to sign Grossman, and only for $1?
-
maybe Kyle Garlick can fill the hole in my heart from Steve Pearce’s absence. i guess i have a thing for short-side platoon journeymen.
-
i’m just happy to get the extra cash (which i will blow on shiny baubles and magic beans).
-
That was a crazy ass auction for Colome. No one was willing to go +1 to $7. I agree that the WaPo piece on Niv Shah is good.
-
In case you missed it, there’s some Ottoneu coverage in the mainstream press today: https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2021/04/13/ottoneu-fantasy-baseball-niv-shah/

0.2 points was the tiebreaker on that auction
-
I don't think I'm at that point yet, but I provide a remarkably consistent result
-
I will reverse our trade from last year 1 for 1 if you want
-
MLB agents should pay me to trade their players and revive their careers.
-
Anybody want an RP for a useable bat with eligibility that isn’t limited to C or 1B?
-
He seemed to take a step up in 2020. Was only eight starts, but Musgrove's K rate spiked last year. Pittsburgh saw the signs and was right to move him before he got really good.
-
it seems like any SP instontly improves when they leave pittsburgh. remember when we all thought ray searage was a genius?
-
Particularly nice to see Musgrove throw a no-hitter the day I drop the guy I traded him for
-
anyone interested in trading for Larnach or Waters in return for cash?
-
I like Robles and he was nasty in 2019. Saw a velo drop last year in the weird season, but the velo is back and I'm not willing to put much stock in a small sample for a RP with a pretty solid track record unless the stuff is clearly on the decline.
-
Never been a huge fan of Robles, but he has his velo back and a clear path to holds. I make plenty of Twins homer plays, but this ain't one of them.
-
... and that's why I almost never bid on MN players.
-
i just assume that whenever a twins player is auctioned and goes to someone else that i must've underbid, and when i win that i wildly overpaid.
-
Well, that was fun while it lasted.
-
For anyone worried about SP depth/volume, willing to trade an SP for a comparably valued upgrade at hitting or RP. Let me know!
-
So the top two teams are on pace to get their 1500 IP by early August maybe? Might be the way to go this year.
-
Dane Dunning against the Blue Jays? What could go wrong?
-
The IP thing is definitely a real challenge. A couple injuries and I am already looking at terrible matchups far too fondly.
-
well look at that, dead last.
-
Though my projected ~3200 IP might be doing some of the work there...

Muskies coming out of the gate positively smoking.

Maybe it's the snow that's been missing from Miggy's game. A HR and diving defensive stop at 1B so far today.
-
currently snowing in Detroit
-
Happy Opening Day everyone!
-
haha, Jasson goes for more than he would’ve on waivers a couple of days ago.

I believe before the season it's random chance. During the season it's determined by place in the standings.
-
How are ties broken for auction bids? I noticed I tied for the top bid on Tanner Scott but did not get him.
-
Haha, the Rangers have a player named Joey Gallo and another one named Joe Gatto.
-
Damn! Torn pectoral muscle. That sucks. They're saying he'll be out 5-6 months.
