OK - since all but two of the 11 people currently in the league were in favor of reversing all of Fiers Sale's moves, they have all been reversed. Since I am not going through this exercise again of having to manually input > 50 transactions, I think as a league we should require a renewal from any new manager before conducting any trades with them. Also, this was an extremely manual process, so if you can just check your team and make sure the salaries are right and the players on your ros

Not sure how my vote is being counted but I'm going to have to vote for the reversal of the trades for the betterment of the whole league. It just makes sense for overall fairness and fir attracting a new owner.

But really, I don't think I want to juggle 3 teams yet, so my vote definitely should NOT count, but I think my perspective as a potential GM should. Maybe there is a potential GM who has a bunch of money and doesn't care about dumping $100 down the drain for years to come. He likely won't be a very good GM if that's how he thinks, but he may be out there. So for now I'm going to abandon the team so that it's still made available for others. I'll keep checking in though. May snag the team later.

CarGone, I first signed on with a $10 league (160 in the URL) a couple weeks ago. After messing around on there a couple days I joined a $50 league (285), which has much more strategy with prospects than the $10 league. Both teams are in rebuild mode. Prospects-a-plenty and Let it Sano are the names (new names are in the works)... The main problem y'all have right now, until a decision is made, is that really no trades can be made that involve players who Fiers dealt or acquired (plus the drops)

Just to be clear, yes, I am in favor of reversing. It's simply in the best interest of the league as a whole now that we know the original deals were not made by the former owner with the honest intent of managing a team. I'm not sure we can count the new Fiers Sale vote tho -- no disrespect intended -- if Jadama has not even decided he intends to be a part of the league. I appreciate the input from an unbiased observer, but not sure it warrants a vote.

Yep you figured me out....by my count currently in favor of reversing trades is: Me, Sheriff, A Fraud, Gator, Strangers, Ridiculous, Fiers Sale, Felix, Caminiti. In favor of not reversing are you and Chico and I don't remember what our reigning champion said. Seems like a pretty strong majority to me. And, like Sheriff said, if you're 100% positive the trades you made were good trades for both sides, you should have no trouble making them again with a real owner.

Ha. That was probably Coco signing in under a different name. If including Caminiti as a vote to reverse, that's still only 5 votes. For such an extreme move as to reverse 8 trades you should a least have the support of the majority (7 votes).

And it's possible that I WILL keep the team once I see what it looked like (I guess I can do that on paper), but I think my wife may kill me if I join another league. Mainly trying to get y'all moving in the right direction

I'm new to ottoneu and looking to rebuild a team that will conten year in and year out. I only claimed this team to say that I highly doubt anyone will claim this team unless the cuts/trades can be undone. That guy left this team in shambles and it will take many many years for this team to ever contend because of it. I think y'all need to get on board with reversing the damage. If the trades were good, then they can be worked out again.

If we decide its best to keep them I am fine with that and hope we can find a new owner willing to take on Fiers, all good, unfortunately we are not all going to be happy whatever we decide

not sure I get the veto point, it's Otto and rarely do you veto unless something underhanded is going on, to that end if we 'knew' he would make those trades, cut the players and abandon the league, we would have vetoed the deals

I don't believe in ghosts 👻. That was an owner that defaulted on his obligation bc he didn't like his chances of winning. Sleazy move? Definitely. Reason to reverse the last 8 trades with 6 different owners, all of which were already easily approved? Certainly not. That's my opinion anyway.

@Cargone, you use the word "owner" multiple times in that statement and thats the whole point... we didnt make these deals with an owner, it was a fraudulent ghost who came in made a bunch of deals and left, maybe if it was the original Fiers Sale owner and he just didnt pay when the March deadline came that's one thing, but this person youre saying we made deals with doesnt technically exist in our leagues universe

Reversing approved trades from bad owners, no matter how temporary, is a bad idea IMO. Learning from this incident, I'd recommend we ban new owners from trading until they're paid so we can avoid this from recurring

That manager sucks most for making this a divisive issue. But I pretty strongly oppose reversing trades. Nobody was hacked and he didn't do anything malicious. There was a lot of back and forth between us as well before agreeing to a trade. His intentions were clear to me. He traded for 1 or 2 guys he really wanted and would ask for more that he could try to flip for something else. He tried selling me players he just acquired. When he learned there was no market for many of them he bailed.

We should just email ottoneu and have them reset the league back to December 4th. Then it will belike the uy never joined the league and we can go about making trades and finding an owner for this team
