Aw man, that has suddenly become not a good time for me. My other money leagues is having it that day early, but it will run well past 2PM. Can we move it back to 5PM?

Thanks House Felix. Let's set the draft for 2 PM Eastern on Sunday March 20. Will give you some wriggle room there, as I assume that you probably would have to go to work within minutes of the draft's conclusion.

OK - so March 27 is looking like a winner at the moment. That is a Sunday, so hopefully no little league athletics to interfere with if we did it in the morning? Sunday evening would probably also work well, but I'm not sure how that works in Australia time. Prospect King - you obviously present the most difficulty in scheduling, so how about you let us know a time that would work well for you and we can go from there

I agree with the smelly hooker (never thought I'd say that). I coach both my son's basketball teams every Saturday morning. Sundays work best for me, or later in the evening during the week. I'm also in CST.

Closer to opening day is fine with me. I'm on CST so if we do a weeknight I'd like it to start no earlier than 7:30 EST. I'm a little reluctant to say Saturday mornings as I'm volunteer coaching baseball and that's when our practices are. I should be good for Sundays though. Cheers.

Sat/Sun is fine on my end. I also prefer if we can hold off until closer to the end of Spring Training; not much worse than paying for a guy only to see him get hurt in games that don't matter.

Good call in bringing this up. I guess the first step is to decide whether we want an early draft or a later draft. Personally, I don't see a point in drafting until at least the beginning of spring training, and I personally prefer to draft at the end of spring training. If we did the draft on a Saturday morning (i.e. 10 or 11 AM Eastern), would that time of day work for everyone?

A trade of Giancarlo for Kevin Siegrist would have gotten you just as far under the cap. Bryce Harper was just traded and he returned a legitimate haul of players. You obviously know your shit so I'm just shocked you'd trade a potential top 2-3 OF for a closer at any price, but if you want to make it, go for it.
