Whipping got the message. Beach Boys no problem. I wouldn't have even had asked everyone for the early payment but I was concerned about Altuve. He is gone replaced by Whipping looking forward to the draft.

Based upon the circumstances of Altuve handling of the team and the quick ownership of whipping I also do not have an issue with it. My voice is only one voice tho, anyone with any objection please message me by Sun. If I get an objection I will put it to a vote. Any objection can be sent to McGibb or I before Sun and will be kept confidential. I think we are all on the same page here but I want to keep a consistent procedural policy in place that this league is run by everyone.

I am the commissioner in name only. When it comes to anything that involves anything to do with a rule or discretion that will always go back to the body for a vote. I will always do my best to post the rule so the league may have the information to decide on it based upon the the guidelines set by ottoneu.

Dee when u are a fantasy degenerate like I am u have a lot of leagues to pull from. I got lucky with Whipping boys claiming it as fast as he did. I think his addition will benefit a great group moving forward. Glad everything worked out.

Per rules new owner will get one full round of cuts. I am also requiring payment upon claiming the team. Again sry to make everyone pay a little early but better we address this now.

Our new owner who claimed 14 teams since Oct decided to drop out after being informed of the league fee. He wanted to push it back to March 27 and was informed that the requirement of payment was required by this date. Sry to make everyone pay early but this guy was my concern. Team has been posted awaiting a new owner.

I have spoke to White Sox 2020 team owner and that situation is taken care of. I will post something at the end of the day to confirm the status of the two other teams.

Yeah, we decided to do that last fall sometime after the season ended in response to the change in prize structure at the $50 level (i.e., no prize for 3rd place).

Guys just a reminder to get league fees paid by tomorrow. I have to do it as well and I will get paid today. Not trying to be a pain but I just dont want any issues with the draft. This is the only year we will have to do this.

Yeah, we should be able to finish in under 3 hours, I would think. A lot of those 162 spots are going to be $1 players and that part of the draft always goes by real quick.

Cant wait doing some RP work right now. It is no hurry guys on the fees as long as they are paid by the 14, this is the only year this will have to be done. LG dont lose that trophy because u will be giving it to me this year.

LG you are correct when you pay for your league fee it will show that next year's fee is due on Jan 31,2020. Please get this years fee paid by Feb 14. If a team decides to back out it will give us a week to get an owner and let him make cuts before the Feb 22, draft. I will send out a message on Feb 14 as a reminder.

Yeah, I'm okay paying the league fee early. In future years, the renewal date for everyone will be January 31st (i.e., same as keeper deadline).

The league allows post Jan 31 one time cut for new owners. Is everyone ok with a new team having to pay the league fee for the first year after claiming the team. Second issue would be to have all teams pay fees a week before the scheduled draft date.

I like that better. We could even have new teams pay the league fee once they commit to joining the league and everyone else have a deadline of January 1 or January 15 so any potential new owners still have the opportunity to make some roster moves before the January 31 deadline.

I spoke with Altuve and discussed the situation. The drop has been made and all the teams are valid going into the draft.

How about this idea: Make league fees due a week before the draft(Feb 15) that way we would have time to find an owner and not have anything impact the league if someone decides not to come back. If they pay the fee and decide not to be active or want to drop out we have a whole year to address it and it doesn't impact the prize structure.

I don't love the idea of a non-refundable deposit personally. I don't plan on going anywhere, but I would hate losing money because I decided I no longer wanted to participate in a fantasy league. Also, does the site accommodate for something like that? If I remember correctly, everyone that is left consistently checked their teams during the season. I think we have a solid group overall and at least one of the new additions has been active this off season.

Guys - How do we make sure all of those invested now stay invested for future years? Recruiting new teams each year is a pain, especially since the guys most likely to bail probably have bad teams, or dried out their squad to get a victory. I propose we have each team owner pay dues for this season and a deposit for next. If a team bails, they forfeit their deposit then an inheriting owner would pay jsut one year's dues to take the team over. Thoughts?

I am talking with Mike (McGibblets) about requiring newly claimed teams to pay the league fee upon claiming the team. I looked into Altuve and he claimed 14 teams since last year. I am ok with that as long as he is able to stay on top of his team in this league. I messaged him and emailed him and I am awaiting a response. If anyone is not ok with the new claimed team having to pay league fees please contact me and it will be put to vote. Fee-Just for first year.
