June 20, 2025 5:06 PM : The Reds placed Miley on the 15-day injured list Friday due to a left flexor strain.
Analysis: The veteran left-hander last pitched Sunday in Detroit and gave up two runs across five innings, but he may have injured his arm during that outing or in his between-starts bullpen session. Miley will be eligible to be activated in early July, but could be out longer given the nature of the injury. Chase Petty will be called up from Triple-A Louisville to enter the rotation in place of Miley on Saturday against the Cardinals.
