• I'm happy with a 9pm GMT (5pm EST) start on a weeknight if it is just for a couple of hours. Wouldn't want to go much later though.

• Everything I’ve read about initial Ottoneu auctions is that they can take a long time so I’d support splitting into 2. No preference as to times although would hope they avoid working hours for obvious reasons!

• @Lawn Mauer - that would put it at a 9pm+ start for those of us that are based in the UK (I think 5/12). Not a problem for me but I'll let others chip in with their thoughts. Perhaps if we break the back of the auction next Sunday, a 9pm weekday start would be easier for any fellow countrymen who are early risers ;0)

• I think we're all ottoneu rookies here so if anyone's after some decent resources ahead of the draft, I'd recommend the slack group Adios Pelota pointed to below (https://ottoneu.slack.com/). Fangraphs (https://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/) and https://www.smartfantasybaseball.com also has some decent posts on auction prep; ditto the Ottoneu community forum (http://community.ottoneu.com). You can also access Player Stats and Average Salaries from the Players section of our league site on Ottoneu

Auction will probably be split into two sessions, with the first 4hrs scheduled for Sunday March 18th at 7pm GMT (3pm Eastern), and the second part of the draft is tbc, but probably one evening the week after or the following Sunday. Also. remember - The expert in anything was once a beginner!
