Have you/we heard anything from the owners that did not participate in arbitration? If not, I think they have until the end of this week and you/we find new owners for the teams.

Does anyone else take issue with abandoning teams who choose not to participate?

my understanding is that it is commonly accepted to abandon teams who are inactive. a team that does not allocate is not active. This is how it is done in every other ottoneu league in which I participate. That said, there is only one team who has not allocated which has not been recently active on the site. So, I am hoping it is not an issue.

Let's stick with the Rules currently in place by Ottoneu and not create your own. If you don't agree with those rules, your beef needs to be made to Ottoneu for changes in the rules. But teams/owners signed up and paid with the understanding of the current rules in place and located in Ottoneu Rules.

While I understand the preference for all teams to allocate, I think the Ottoneu rules need to be followed. You should not abandon any teams due to allocation or lack of. Read the Rules regarding Allocation. It actually can be an owners preference to participate in allocation. The rules states it will be as if that team did not participate in allocation. I don't agree that the league has the option to abandon teams that don't allocate and cannot have another make allocations for them.

And I think my email said the 15th. And by that I meant that the 15th will be too late as the period is over at midnight on the 14th.

Sent an email regarding arbitration. Teams who have not allocated by the deadline will be marked as abandoned. Waiting until the last minute is a perfectly acceptable strategy. Don't wait too long! Still deciding whether keeping Trout will be worth it!

Rizzo- thanks for keeping it interesting the last few weeks after Vorn Squad quit. I was coasting and only half paying attention and before I knew it you were on my heals.
I really enjoyed taking an 11th place team and winning a championship in my first year in the league.
