Happy New Year! A new year suggestion: I’m in another Ottoneu league that utilizes the GroupMe chat app to carry on league conversations. You can opt in or out of immediate notifications, but it’s a good way to have league talk + Baseball banter. I would be open to using this in our league. It does add a layer of fun. Be aware that It can also add a layer of distraction. But, it really makes my other league super silly and engaged.

I agree. A good part of the allure to this game is to strike an instant deal that in your mind can't be beat! Nobody wants to wait for days and weeks

Negotiating is fun! Definitely good to ask around and get the most you can for your assets. But it's also not fun waiting days/weeks for a response and not getting one, not even a simple no thanks or not interested. So I understand the quick strike to a certain extent. Thankfully this league is pretty good about that for the most part. I think this is the time in the off-season where some trades can get made out of boredom. I know I can be guilty of that.

The only thing I would be interested in doing is divisions and playoffs, because I think it keeps everyone active. But I agree about waiting until 2019.

I do not want any changes for this upcoming season. Discussions for future is okay, but nothing takes place without timely notice to prepare. Willing to listen to discussion, but I would rather leave the league the way it is.

I think I would rather wait and see what happens with other leagues first. If we are going to change I would rather do it before or know about it before offseason activities begin.
