All MiLB players have been added to the restricted list. When you are checking to see if a player is available to be drafted, if he's not on an MLB Ottoneu team or restricted list, he is eligible. Reminder Roki Sasaki is NOT eligible for this draft. Otherwise any other player in affiliated ball without any MLB experience is available.

Renamed my team Squared Up. One of the new statcast stats and one of my favorites anecdotally. I think some of you are in another league with me. I first played fantasy baseball in 1991. Took many years off. Got back into it in 2021. I like Ottoneu so far, but this is my first season in the format.

We found a replacement for Nomar Comin. Please welcome Jim! He and I will be working on getting his team down to legal roster size in the next day or two.
I plan on having the MiLB draft start on 2/17 still.

Well I heard back from Rob and he will not be returning this year.
So we will have to find a backup manager ASAP, and then have that manager make the necessary cuts to get the team legal and once that is all done we can resume our offseason schedule with the MiLB draft.
If anyone has referrals, send them my way!

Quick Update:
Still waiting to hear back from Rob (Nomar Comin) on getting his team legal with cuts. He was having issues with Paydala which is why I'm allowing cuts after deadline. I haven't been able to get in touch with him yet, so I am pushing back the start of the MiLB draft at least a week. Now looking at starting on 2/17.

We are waiting on Nomar Comin to make his cuts - he was having some Paydala issues, so I'll be working with him to get his cuts in post-deadline.
Also a reminder that the MiLB draft will start a week from today. I have updated all rosters (except for Rob) and the draft board. We will make selections on the Ottoneu message board. Please reach out with questions

I have found a replacement for Bandits. Please welcome Holden to the league. He is a co-worker of mine and has a ton of knowledge and passion for the sport of baseball. This is his first venture into the world of Ottoneu, but I know with that passion and knowledge (and data analytic skills), he is going to do real well in the league.

The other thing I want to bring up is the Roki Sasaki situation. Our charter lays out the rules for who is eligible and who is not. While Sasaki falls into the category as being eligible for the draft because he is not signing an MLB deal, we are handling this like we did with Ohtani in 2017/2018 when he signed a similar deal and also was not eligible for the MiLB draft.
So Roki Sasaki will NOT be eligible for the 5MiLB draft, rather just available during the MLB auction

We have 11 of 12 managers returning. Bat City Bandits never responded to my several emails, messages and reminders so I'm assuming he will not be returning. He also was not logged on since June 11.
That being said, we have an opening in the league. I always like to ask for referrals first, so please send if you have any, but I will also simultaneously be posting on Ottoneu slack looking for a new manager.
