Has the commish officially sanctioned our draft date and time, and when are we going to put up money?

Is it the 28h yet...... How many times can I look at my roster organizer before I have some sort of epiphany haha
-
sorry - I said 1/28 but I meant 2/28 - 12:30 pm CST on 2/28 is perfect
-
I can do the draft at 12:30 pm CST on 1/28 (just not before that), and I vote to keep our current system
-
since we are having strong objections to changing the arbitration system, we'll keep it as Vote Off
-
that is 1:30 ET, so 12:30 central
-
How about just push it back 30 min to 1? That should work right?
-
I also object to changing arbitration. If Grids can't make the time I say we switch the time.

No objections to the 12:30 pm Central draft time on 2/28. But, I strongly object to switching from Vote Off to Arbitration. If I understand the rules, the most a team could have added to it would be $33, which in essence would rise salaries and cause salary dumps. But, with the Vote Off system, you'll always have 12 high quality RFA in the auction pool each year. And, you can bet your ass this year that I'm going to be bidding up the price of Johnny Cueto just so the commish will lose him.
-
I can handle 12:30 pm - earlier than noon would not have been possible, but 12:30 is OK
-
Those are my two cents but whatever the league wants I'm down for. I plan on winning every year regardless.
-
Grids has stated multiple times he can't draft at that time, which would kind of suck for him. I'm down for anytime, whatever works best for the league. I also don't know why we are changing the arbitration system. We haven't even completed a whole year. I say we see and wait. I feel as of now everyone has a great chance of being competitive. No need to change something that isn't broken. I'm in a fantasy football league where people try to change things every year and it just pisses people off.
-
unless we get some objections, let's plan on the draft being on 02/28/15 at 12:30 pm Central and we will switch to an allocation arbitration system for the coming year. Now is the time to object.
-
I can do 2/28 at 12:30. I also prefer arbitration to voting off players.

1230 on 2/28 works for me.
-
I like both systems. Keeps it more competitive.
-
Overall I agree that the allocation system seems better but I am ok with either system.
-
Allocation
-
I like the allocation system. I believe it'll still cause people to drop high quality players because they will be much more expensive to keep.

for next year would people prefer the vote off or allocation arbitration system?

Ha! And 12:30 will work for me

he can then watch the draft and learn how to subtract $50.00 from his father's bank account.

Not such a bad thing, lol: http://m.mlb.com/cutfour/2015/01/21/107031046/blue-jays-prospect-daniel-norris-actually-lives-in-van-down-by-the-river

If we start at 12:30 pm, then I can succeed in getting my kid to and from Kumon, and he will learn math. Otherwise, he will grow up to live in a van down by the river.

12:30 pm on 2/28 works for me
-
would those that want an early time on 2/28 mind saying why? if it is purely preference, that is one thing, but I think there is a difference between preferences and being excluded from the draft
-
12:30 central time? I can do that

I only say early so I have more of the day to work with. So if it's not early, then I'd prefer later in the day instead.

-
on 2/28, if the draft starts before noon, I won't be able to be in it - there is just no way I can log on until noon that day
-
I vote for the earliest possible time on the 28th
-
11 am or 12 noon CST on 2/28 would work out great for me.
-
Since we have had requests ranging from early to afternoon I'd say something in the noonish (CT) range sounds appropriate
-
2/28 is perfect! what range of time? morning? mid-day? afternoon?
-
2/28 works for me.

Long shot but has anyone here ever done any foreclosure/lien priority work in Illinois? Got a one off case that is giving me headaches...
-
Is everyone good with 02/28 for the draft? Let me know if this doesn't work for everyone.
-
I'm in the East (Montreal) but I'll go with whatever time is best for all of you.

Frazier should only be $3. His player profile has all transactions for him.

Nope that weekend is great for me. I live in San Diego. Think I'm the only one here not in the central time zone!

correct me if I am wrong but Todd Frazier should have the $2 increase and should now be at $4. I will make the changes, unless I am wrong here.

It's my birthday the 28th, so I'm sure I can convince my wife to take the kid and leave me alone for a few hours to draft. Either way, the 28th or 1st should be fine for me.
-
Is it possible to change the allocation system prior to draft - if so I def think it's worth a discussion/vote
