  • Nevermind, found my answer in the rules

    Managers shall be permitted to retain any of their players at a salary which is increased based on their previous year salary. Rules for salary increases are as follows:

    Players who have played in at least one MLB regular season game in the past 2 MLB seasons will have their salary increase by $2.
    All other players will have their salary increase by $1.

  • I was just looking at Cade Cavalli. He was on somebody's roster in 2022 when he pitched in one game. As a result of this game, his salary increased from $2 to $4 over the off-season. He didn't pitch again in the Majors until this year. He was on somebody's roster last year, but his salary only increased by $1 over the off-season.

    So how exactly does it work? If somebody doesn't play in the Majors for a full season it's only a $1 increase? Or do they have to play in the Minors?

  • Oh man, I played Fantasy Football for a few, but after 3 years of just watching the scroll on the bottom or then the red zone thing. Killed my joy.
    The grind of baseball is so underrated. I dont know how they hold together, if they do. The BIG INnING is cool on MLB net tho
