As far as one of my side bets go with Jeremy; Meadows and Benioverpricey both have 445.60 at the break.
-
Vlad got worn down by Joc
-
Happy alonso won but sad vlad lost
-
Fair assessment
-
Unfortunately Olson can only play 1B; also his wOBA is exactly the same as Sano (who like the others can play more than one position). I tend to view Olson and Sano as 2nd tier guys who certainly could breakout some day, but haven't yet and I'm not really expecting it.
-
Matt Olson
-
Riley.

Riley
-
I think they're the same player, but Austin has OF eligibility, so for me that tilts toward him.
-
Not related to HR Derby, but just a question for the break... if you could pick only one, Austin Riley or Michael Chavis?
-
Brent, you are all things west coast when it comes to baseball geez
-
Franmil should be in it, but was oddly omitted
-
I got $100 on my boy Joc @ 7-1.
-
Im pulling for Alonso to win derby tonight. Vlad jr. is good for ratings, but based on merit, shouldn't be participating.
-
Taylor Trammel is impressive , he was safe at home
-
Yeah, one of the places where I really whiffed this year. I liked Franmil and Renfroe, but between neither being a CF, and Myers seeming like he had to occupy a corner OF spot, just didnโt trust either young slugger to get enough ABs. Oops
-
Meanwhile big Franmil will hit 40 plus this year
-
wow the fall of chris davis and wil meyers...42$and 39$ once, now unrostered, and neither are old . The new ball and launch angle switch over seemed to be of no help to either
-
Looking forward to the Futures Game tonight
-
Isnโt โabsinthe without wormwoodโ just pastis (or ouzo if clear)?

All I know is you can't get it with wormwood in it here, or a very low %
-
I've had that absinthe on two occasions, Fred. Very different experiences.
-
Wormwood*
-
I'd like to try European Abisenthe with woodworm in it
-
Everyone should experience psilocybin mushrooms at least once in their lifetime
-
And inside the venue, Fred Folsom Field, love the vendor's call... "Cold beer, edibles."
-
Great Dead & Company show last night in Boulder. You know the Dead Heads have taken over the town when you go to Safeway and there's a guy selling shrooms ($20 each) at the entrance like they're Girl Scout cookies.
-
Brew, Bet now you're regretting passing on that opportunity to poor a beer over my head on my dime!
-
Here here.
-
Most trades I've got burned on are my own doing
-
You must not have read where I clearly stated what I would have to give up to get Buehler. I don't make shit offers, I don't think Henry is too displeased to get Devers for Oneil.
-
Especially when said top shelf young star was called a " lesser prospect" the year before by person wanting him now.
-
The garbage for top shelf star offers are offensive and wearisome. Not worthy of even pondering
-
Your comment shows your ignorance.
-
Wrong fool, for example , one of my former young studs ,Hoskins at 5$ , Jeremy offered me bellinger who had higher contract. Not an assortment of cold cuts and chopped liver, but prime rib for lobster. There are a few men of honor and dignity in here, and a few who have no shame , and others in the middle.
-
** Of course the exception to EVERYONE are teams playing all in for the present season.
-
For future reference, just assume that EVERYONE in the league wants to trade for cheap, young, studs w/o giving up any cheap, young, studs. Good to know that you are a part of the EVERYONE of whom I speak.
-
Brew,. Loved your recent message on how you're only willing to trade your players of no value AND willing to crucify anyone who dares to offer you the same kind of guys!! Classic!!
-
Get a room you two, sickening
-
Bat, No offense taken, you were spot-on to point out the absence of logic on my end of the trade. You were even gracious enough to posit that maybe it was just the 1st move of a larger transaction. If only.
-
For his career, .456/.519/.809 against the Cubs. $60 does seem reasonable.

If albies played Cubs all the time, a 60$ salary would be warrented
-
Sorry NGB, didnโt mean to say it was a bad tradeโI probably wouldnโt think twice about giving Dahl for Machado in some hypothetical league where Iโm somehow competitiveโjust interesting that youโd do it.

Albies loses his luster after 20$ , as does dejong
-
Speaking of standing, not in a million years would I have guessed that of my original "cornered the market" cohort of top prospects little Ozzie would be the last man standing in the NGB clubhouse.
-
I'll trade any and all peripherals , older, higher salary, rp, rentals ..no problem with that (like white hot Puig at 35$ ) . It bothers me when raiders go after my prospects when they are paying off or are about to, however. It's almost like a hostile take over in the business world, an act of aggression which cannot stand
-
In case folks haven't figured it out yet, my trading philosophy is: "It's only fantasy baseball, not anything of real importance, so why the hell not!!" lol
-
Boredom should never be underestimated in negotiations.
-
... throw-in a pinch of payroll lust and a pinch of boredom and you have all the ingredients for yet another awful NGB trade!! Really don't know why, after 4.5 seasons of this, folks aren't beating a path to my door with trade offers?
-
I still think Machado is way over-rated, but Kloobs thinks otherwise and he knows a lot more about such things than I do. I get most of my ideas from the smart guys in this league like Kloobs, and Gravy, and I have no problem over-ruling my opinions with their opinions. Also, now Harper doesn't have to be "The Man" in the NGB clubhouse and maybe that will help him perform better. In addition, it's god-damn time for Buxton to grow-up and start pulling an oar...
