DC can embarass anyone though, that lineup is incredibly balanced and that fielding is top notch, LAD should be nervous
-
and synterclaus is one of those glam rock show more than substance guys i disdain
-
NGB , DC embarassed Cubs , they rebound with a vengence
-
Thor might not even get out of the first inning!! Don't go against Brew when it comes to the Cubbies!!
-
My ex-wife never really accused me of anything. She begged me not to go. I was the one who was profoundly unhappy. Not good times, biggest failure of my life.
-
Of course Iโm also planning to start ERod@COL, so my judgement is probably unreliable.

Padres have a .712 OPS at home, and .711 vs RHPs overall (thatโs probably in the .690s at home); Iโm definitely starting Maeda in Capped.

I'm out brained in this league sheesh

-
Did your ex wife ever accuse you of over thinking things and or lecturing too often ?
-
O.K. Clase's Trout risk solved. Trout's not in the lineup tonight.
-
Got burned over-thinking it again. Chirinos has a w/RC+ of 247 against LHP at home, last time I inserted him in my lineup to take advantage of that (maybe a week ago) he put up 30 pts. Never even occurred to me that Astros wouldn't have him in the starting lineup tonight. Sanchez has generally been putrid away from Yankee Stadium, nonetheless, I usually play him anyway... unless Astros are facing a LHP at home. I've only benched Sanchez twice all season and both times he has homered.
-
Actually, that Padres lineup will also be missing Machado, since he's virtually unplayable against RHP, especially at home... but I'm still going to resist the temptation.
-
I'll take my chances against a Cubs lineup missing Rizzo. I will take your advice on the opener, hopefully he keeps Trout in the park. I should probably go with Maeda against a Padres lineup without Tatis, but I just can't warm-up to the idea of letting Maeda use innings that would otherwise be used by Verlander, DeGrom, Kershaw, Stras, and friends.
-
And Clase for his 1 inning opener
-
Start Madea vs SD instead
-
Ngb, you shouldn't start Sinterclaus, he will get lit up, Cubs are angry and finding their groove.
-
yes in one of those starts he gave up 4 hr , he should have won them all left vs phillies up 5 to 0
-
Mechanics, you look like you should be pretty desperate for innings about now. You want Darvish? Trade deadline quickly approaching, better get that offer to me stat!!
-
Flahertyโs fantasy day took a dramatic turn at the end. He went into his last inning with all of 19 points.
-
I doubt I'll ever pitch him the remainder of the season. I'd have to be desperate for innings before I'd even consider it.
-
I got so excited about your Darvish post that I quickly went to bask in the glow of his results when in my line-up... what, -2.24 ppip. What a bum!!
-
Darvish is back, went over 100 batters straight before walking someone. Last 5 starts 0 walks and 9 k, before walking 1 batter last night
-
Morton sure can pitch , what control , hershiser like
-
Iโll go out on a limb and say no. 14th in innings pitched, which seems to matter to CY voters. Cole, JV, Morton, Bieber, Lynn, maybe even Minor (I cant believe I wrote those last 2 names) or even Chapman might get more votes. He might have better luck in future seasons when people will think of him as good from the start.

Does Giolito (another player I got way wrong) have a shot at AL CY ?
-
50 HR is a feat , in any year and park any conditions , he will certainly eclipse that
-
If heโd stayed healthy and played at the same level, me tooโthough Iโd bet against a .410 babip for another 75 games. Alonsoโs HRs are worth something, a 2nd place vote. Heโs great. Soroka has been better.

Even with the juiced ball, hitting HRs at the rate of Trout, Bellinger, and Yelich has got to count for something. Playing in the NY market will count for a lot. My vote would go to Tatis even with the injuries. He played enough to show that he is the biggest impact player to enter the NL this season.
-
I bet Pete would have win nl Roy even if Tatis stayed healthy, although not unanimous
-
Not that I think your wrong, unfortunately. Most (I donโt think it will be unanimous) of the RoY voters have probably forgotten already that the ball is juiced and HRs arenโt as impressive as they think they are. And since they donโt have to look at the AL they donโt, s they donโt realize Alonso is the lite version of a rookie hitting โphenomโ.

You thought Mike Soroka was a Trumbo type?

I thought the unanimous NL ROY to be another Trumbo-Mark Reynolds type , not the phenom he became. Reminds me of Troy Glaus
-
Tracking where Alonso came from, first drafted by NGB of course. Then cut , added by Brent who traded to Charles for Yusiel Diaz. As he was touted to be a stone handed slow footed platoon 1b back then, I will give Charles the credit of him being his guy, his prospect/lottery pick that paid off. Well done , perhaps you will comprehend the value of prospecting as opposed to raiding.
-
Alonso!! Mets alltime hr leader
-
Rendon for mvp !
-
The cubs are last in nl in contact rate and swinging strike rate whereas DC is 1st in both of those categories. If you watched every at bat as I did in the series is was painful . Fucking Rendon is impossible to get out with men on base
-
Looking pretty good for anyone who took the under!
-
Sure looked safe to me, in real time and on replay.

Apparently Ron Washington thinks lumbering giants are faster at altitude. I think Freddie was safe.

Freddie's BB + SB puts him over 1,000 pts. Not the way I had imagined it would happen.

Yes. .091/.109/.136 in the 2017 AFL. Looks like the new ball really agrees with him.

Bat, Didn't we see Dom Nunez in AFL? Couldn't hit a lick? He just drove Matt Joyce to the fence!
-
Couple near Miss foul balls already. Dansby drove one 405 ft. to CF. Too bad the wall is at 415 ft.
-
YouTube director doesnโt seem that interested in crowd shots or foul balls (theyโd rather show us a Folty interview with half his face blocked by the dugout fence) so we probably wonโt see you without a spectacular catch.

If you extended the first base foul line back up into the 2nd level, would hit in the middle of my chest.
-
Bat, In 2nd deck, 3rd row. Green plaid shirt and Mississippi Braves hat. Just to 3rd base side behind plate. Decided to take a shot at getting a foul ball today.
