More about me: I'm originally from Chicago and am a lifelong Cubs fan (which has generally been a painful existence...). I currently live in Anchorage, Alaska; Drew and I work together, so you can thank (or curse) him for inviting me into the league. I'm an engaged owner with consistently strong results (won 3 of 3 leagues this year), although I am severely tempering my expectations for my first attempt at this league format. I enjoy horrible, lopsided trade offers and long walks in the park...

Thanks for the invite. I look forward to flailing about this year. I'm a long-time fantasy baseball addict, yet I have never ventured into the world of Ottoneu before. I've been in a roto keeper league since 2003 and a roto H2H auction keeper league since around 2010. However, this dynasty format with huge budget management seems like an entirely different beast. This first season will likely be a steep learning curve with some rough results for me. Please be gentle.

All you guys are awesome! I was on the road all day yesterday, thus no chance to respond before now. That was exactly what I didn't want happening. I really, really like you too, however, I've already booked-up my new found spare time and the bookings are non-refundable. I'm not going to change my mind and it would be too awkward if I did... you'd all think you had to be gentle with me or something like that. I think two more teams need to declare who they’re protecting in the Capped league. If you do it soon all four players will be grouped together on the message board, which would make it a little easier to deal with.
