Hey Brent and Charles, I was supposed to meet Old NGB in Phoenix for some AFL games...but my wife broke her arm and I have a new, temporary (I hope) job as cook, driver, and general gofer, so I had to reschedule my flight. Thought about spring training, but it turns out the Braves are opening the season @Arizona, and I’ve never been to Chase Field. You guys interested in going to a game that weekend? Friday or Saturday would be best for me.

Yikes, the Astros look really bad after reading this Athletic piece. Mike Fiers has some guts, going public like that. Obviously Astros hitters should be devalued after this revelation. I suggest moving those Bregman arb dollars to someone who can hit without cheating, such as Soto and Yelich.

Ive said it once, Ill say it again - A whole month is too long for arbitration. It should end on 11/1 so we can start trading/cutting. It kind of kills interest in the month of October & November. And sure, you CAN offer verbal deals, but that just isnt the same.

Yes, the Cardinals are the worst. But I also hate the Dodgers, White Sox, and Brewers. Also, the Diamondbacks are lame. Also not really a fan of the Yankees or Red Sox. And who really cares about the Reds??? Uh, I guess that's about half the league, and probably offensive to several people in this league...
