Looks like Scott Boras is single-handedly going to solve the mlb "tanking" trend. Read today's NY Times article about Carter Stewart signing with Japanese baseball rather than entering the mlb draft (and all the advantages of doing that for top amateur talent). If this catches on, a tanking team won't be guaranteed access the top amateur talent any more.
