Spoken like an owner that has gotten "the full 33" for as many years as this league has been in existence.

Isn't it $25 for each team to allocate? $33 is the maximum that can get allocated to any one team (if they get $3 from each of the other 11 owners).
-
Time for another offseason! Price increases and position updates have already gone through, so everything is set for arbitration. For those of you who are new, in arbitration you will have 33 dollars to allocate to players on other teams. You have to allocate between $1 and $3 to every team. You also have to allocate all $33 or none of it will be counted. Arb will start the 15th, and you'll have a month to make and change your allocations. Please let me know if you have any questions.
-
I think it's just been a case of certain teams having just about everything go their way - catching breakouts, avoiding too many injuries, etc. Hoping next season is more closely contested.
-
Sorry that the league has been over before the trade deadline in half our seasons (though this is the only year I had anything to do with that). Niv swears there's nothing about 4x4 that encourages runaway victories.
-
The only drama now is to see if Pillar takes first by more points than I did in 2013 (93 to 68).
-
Sorry to lose you Thurm.
-
Sorry to hear that, Chasing. I remember you and I had a real good pennant race back in year 2 of the league.
-
All, I have decided to relinquish my team at the end of this season. Unfortunately as much as I enjoy Ottoneu, I have been unable to put in remotely the amount of time that I feel is required to field a competitive team in this league. Thank you all for a great experience. Andrew

Roberto Big Piece and the 69ers's trade block has been updated!
-
Yes, of course. He can do anything for you. Just remember, to get credit for a pitcher's performance, you must play him in the same role as his major league team uses him. SP must be used as SP and RP must be used as RP.

Can he pitch?
-
Albert Pujols would look really good in your lineup. His salary is only $22. You should totally trade for him!

Yes, we laughed at you then. And we laugh at Ned Yost now.
-
People laughed when I drafted Brock Holt, and now he's an all-star! (they also laughed when I drafted Ackley, and... yeah...)

Jose Bautista is definitely better than "pretty OK." $45, too-banged-up-for-OF Jose Bautista is within spitting distance of "pretty OK."
-
Did you just call Jose Bautista "pretty OK"?
-
Carlos Perez's K-Dance's trade block has been updated!
-
We all stand by, ready to help.

I have enough old, pretty OK outfielders now. Thank you.
-
Well, that went easy. Ok, same question, but with "starting pitcher"!
-
So who has an overpriced, otherwise fine, OF who no one in their right mind would keep another year? What do you want for him?
-
Shane Greene, you gave up 5 home runs in under 2 innings? And pooped in the fridge? I'm not even mad -- that's amazing!

The Angels version is good, but he's got nothing on my guy: http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/688670/carlos.gif?_ga=1.191767977.2082073656.1418851350

Why has K-Dance not started an auction for the Angels' rookie catcher yet?
-
A fond farewell to Andrew McCutchen, who was signed for $22 in the league's first auction in 2011 and became an integral part of three championship teams. He received a standing ovation from Rime of Jamie Moyer fans as he hit a home run in his last day with the franchise, his 103rd over four-plus seasons. We wish him well.

I understand, just trying to get something going on the message board for this league of mostly strangers. And deflect attention from the fact that your team is actually in first this year. Can't believe someone gave you Luis Valbuena -- that might put you over the top. Uncatchable.
-
Sorry, this feels like it didn't end up being funny: please trade with Rime as you feel is best for your team.
-
Seriously though, good luck getting every team to reject offers that would make them better in 2016, as they fall out of contention. You'll never pull it off!
-
Collusion! :-O
-
Rime's in first in SLG, and I'm in second. He has a 410 point lead. I'm closer to 11th than to him. Please, for all our sakes, don't trade him your pitchers.
-
The Rime of Jamie Moyer's trade block has been updated!

Aw guys, what else is the message board for, if not losing perspective and complaining about your own bad breaks? Apparently for the first month of the season it's been for nothing.
-
Yup. First-place problems, apparently.
