• I want to remind the Ottoneu newbies in this league that 30 days after you cut a player, if he hasn't been re-posted by another owner, you can re-post the player and immediately cut him upon re-acquiring him, thereby recouping half of his remaining salary for your budget. It's a way for you to gain back money towards the salary cap. To find the players cut 30+ days ago, click on your team page and find the list of cap penalty players on the right side of the screen. Those 30+ players r in bold.

  I generally only use one C unless I have two good matchups. As the season draws to an end, I'll fill both C slots in order to try to reach max GP limit.

  There is a 162 game cap for catcher. The two slots exist to make it easier to platoon catchers. I did this when it was just the original league and when I tried to get rid of it (in 2013) it turned out the convenience factor was too high. So, two C slots in a one C league."

• I have a question about catchers… I have two spots but the limit seems to be based on picking one guy at a time. Some googling led me to someone saying it’s set up that way so you can platoon catchers. What does that mean in practice? Can I pick two catchers every day or should I be leaving a space blank?

• $15 Edwin (+2 inflation) is probably a keeper next year. As Papi, describes, you'll eventually free up the roster spot when the team moves him to 60 IL. That leaves you "wasting" $15 on your roster all year. However, he could be a valuable trade chit down the road, esp if you're competing and you trade him to a rebuilding team.
