You can log in to the auction room now to check it out, but it pretty much looks how I remember it from last year, so I'm guessing it's the same. If you have ideas for what you'd like to see or would make it easier, you can make a suggestion/request on the Community forum. Niv (the developer) is pretty responsive.

I've heard from all but two owners on a draft day. Currently it's looking like Feb 22 is the day that everyone can make. I am going to leave the poll open for the rest of the day for the final two owners or any adjustments, but I'm planning on setting the date tomorrow. Please indicate days you can make, but don't prefer with the "yes, if need be" option.

Correct, no trades between cut day and draft day. I'll be sending a poll soon to determine draft day availability. Also, trades must be accepted prior to the end of 1/31, not completed, so about 31 hours left to trade!

Sorry Everyone. I just realized today that for some reason I was no longer receiving email updates for stuff that happened in the league. With everything else going on I didn't even notice when this occurred. Sorry to those whose messages and trade requests went unanswered, nothing personal at all. I'm glad that I didn't miss the cut and team renewal deadlines. Thankfully I just randomly logged in today because I knew that the deadlines would be coming soon.

Do trades need to be completed by 1/31 (so initiated by the end of the day today)? Or just initiated by 1/31 (completed on 2/2)? Yes, I've been playing this game for several years now and I still have basic questions every year. ; - )

Thanks for the reminder. I actually didn't realize that we all renew at the same time. I thought our renewal dates were all different, but I checked and mine is indeed on 1/31.

Just a reminder to all managers: trade/cut deadline is coming up on January 31. In addition, that is the renewal deadline for paying the league fee, so make sure you take care of that too.

I know that a lot of owners have no problem with the scenario I described, and they feel it is a fun part of the game. That's fine. I'm not trying to change anyone else's behavior. But if you are interested in a league where this would not happen (trades with loans would just be automatically vetoed - we would be up front about this), let me know.

Greetings. I'm considering starting a new league, apart from this one, with a rule that bans loans in trades. This would prevent the star-studded trades that sometimes give one team a huge advantage in the current year. As in, 3 studs and a $90 loan for 2 prospects. Some teams finish in first with $600 payrolls supported by loans. The owner can win, and then jump to another league, leaving a smoking crater. I'm writing to ask if any other owners would be interested in a league that bans loans.

Thanks to everyone for getting their arb allocations in! Also, I’m happy to report that we’ve found a replacement owner for Sabo, so we are back to full strength. I’m excited for the opening of trading tomorrow!

Great season everyone! I didn't think we'd actually get a "full" season in, but I'm glad we did.

Just a note: the league expectation is that your roster is legal going in to the offseason, which is to say that your roster at 11:59 PM Sunday is at or under cap and your number of players is less than or equal to 40 + 60 day IL players. This is just a friendly reminder, as no one is currently violating this.

Sabo! Nice pickup of Brad Miller. I have fond memories of him years ago in the mariners system. I'm happy to see him having so much success this year, finally.

I'm back online. I have 4 catchers and 7 middle infielders, and am open to moving anyone, although I'm still trying to squint and see myself as a contender so I'm not looking to move impact guys for prospects at this point.

Ok, seeing no strong objections, our arb plan will be as described where arbitration is only done if MLB has a "full" 2020 season. Let the games begin!

Between opt outs and injuries, I may end the season with a 60 man roster at this rate. So whatever arb we want to do is good with me.
