I'll throw in Berrios!
-
I'm looking to swap Crush Davis, Josh Donaldson, JD Martinez and Trout for Kyle Kendrick, Randall Delgado, and Bobby Bonilla's contract if whoever has those would like to make a deal.
-
I made the trade and another pending too.... I did so with full intentions on WINNING this year and years to come. I have been playing fantasy baseball for 15 years, and I know what I'm doing. When healthy, Cabrera is a monster in this league... Desmond had 1 bad year, but also Runs and HR, there are no SS that have averaged what he has. I think he'll sign with the White Sox and that will make him a 25-30 HR, 80-100 RS player easily there. I know what I'm doing.... even if you disagree
-
I voted to veto the trade too. Just would totally shift the league dynamic, and Dragons is basically getting no value in return. Sorry to those involved.

And the fact that you, Wallace, basically admitted that you don't view Desmond and Cabrera as keepers is evidence enough that the value of your side going out could be had for MUCH much less than was given

And no offense again Dragon, but I think you are being absolutely swinded by this trade

There is nothing in the rulebook stating that a veto should be reserved for collusion and I will not be personally applying that logic until it does say that. If you as an owner, like me, feel that one team gets the demonstratively better deal out of a trade, then it is within your right to veto said trade

Everyone has different views on players, and I think that vetoes should be reserved for collusion cases. I understand some of the frustration because of Cabrera and Desmond, but Dragons must view Desmond and Cabrera as keepers otherwise he wouldn't have had them as centerpieces in this trade. If this goes through, I would be looking to move Freeman

I don't control that rule, but it is supposed to represent the majority of the league, being half +1. It is obviously hard to veto someone but the high bar is healthy I think. That said, I am fully campaigning for a veto at the moment

On another note, why are 7 vetoes needed? That means only 3 people in the league need to approve the trade or just not see it, given that the two teams involved accepted the trade.
-
~v~ Dragons ~v~'s trade block has been updated!
-
Yeah, that trade makes no sense in any world at those prices, especially when I'm pretty sure almost every player would have been a cut.
-
If you all want to veto the Kinsler trade as well, thats fine by me. I was planning to keep Kinsler and Moss, but a 70$ miguel cabrera is at least -35$ in surplus value and in what world is ian desmond worth 25$. A better valued prospect in russell than crawford.

I agree. I don't think the trade made with you makes sense either. Moss is a drop and Kinsler is priced at auction value.
-
Ive made the argument that Matthew (degrommit) has gotten away with some shit before but I really cannot believe the level of this one. We need 7 vetos to veto a trade. And I am going to be bothering people about making a decision on this trade in the next two days.

No personal offense to you Dragons, but you gave both the best players AND the best prospects AND took on 61 dollars in the process.

I am voting to veto that trade and I implore that others in this league do. I am not going to sit by while this league becomes less and less competitive while one person swindles people in trades.

Alright I gotta speak out. That last trade is batshit insane. Take on 61 dollars, including guys who he obviously needed to cut, and arguably get worse.

Still looking to move Wieters or Grandal for an OF or MI. Would include Brad Miller for a better piece coming back.

I would consider moving Rubby de la Rosa if Iget back an elite SP.

So an elite mi for a Mayne one day but not now elite mi sure makes tons of sense

I bet that other player well be that Alex Gordon of yours that should be cut?
-
Obviously you aren't going to move Corey Seager straight up for him, but I would imagine I could get a MI in that next tier

Depending upon who it is, I would add another player, but J.P. Crawford is viewed as a potential top-5 fantasy SS. I bet someone is willing to move a very productive to elite MI for him

Saying you'd consider moving a $7 JP Crawford for a top-flight MI is kind of like me saying I'd move my girlfriend for a top-flight swimsuit model.

You can't forget the criminally underrated "Lucas".
-
Yeah, it's dumb to not vote for Griffey if the reason you're doing it is because he doesn't "deserve" to be unanimous. Whatever. The important thing is he's in!
-
It's really fun because now we are getting into players that I remember watching instead of when I had just known about all of them!

The three knuckleheads who didn't vote for Ken Griffrey Jr. should be ashamed. I don't understand that thought process. Congrats to him and Mike Piazza for two incredible careers

...may he rest in peace. He totally carried License to Drive, and is way more Corey than Corey Feldman, who is a putz.

So I just looked up Corey Haim, because I had never heard of him (I am just a Senior in High School, so I don't know my 80's movies!). He seems like an interesting guy...

Thought about renaming my team Bryan Adams, Real Canadian Hero. Changed my mind, I don't really like Bryan Adams and I'm not sure he's a hero in Canada or elsewhere.
