• Spoover is including a loan of $141 in the trade which should cover the cap overage. Our cap limits will look the same after the deal as he gets several much less expensive players and the loan covers my costs. At season's end I'll have to dump the most expensive players on my team to get down below cap, but hopefully the strategic advantage of the large budget will mean a strong finish.

• Problem with man 'o WARs team is that while the pitching pts per IP are excellent, it's on track to fall 300 innings short of cap limit. If man 'o WAR increases volume to close that gap, the pts per IP will likely shrink. And the ratio of games to IP favors teams with strong hitting - 1944 games - 1500 IP, or about 4 - 3. BOHICA is on track to max caps (pretty close) but doesn't have the gaudy hitting average of the top four teams.

• Lots of separation at the top between Panik and Barsi, and between Barsi and the next three. Then the Rotor-Chalupa-Spoover cluster is close. Then there is a big drop to Suspects and another big drop between Aces and Hillbilly.

• I ran a projection, and it doesn't look much different from our current standings (which makes sense, it's based on pt per G and IP so far adjusted by projected starts given current play totals.) Just swap BOHICA with me and Chalupa with Spoover and that's the final standings.
