I want to thank the league for voicing their concerns about the recent trade in a cordial manner. I know one's take on fairness can be subjective, especially when dynasty outlooks for young players are involved. I think it is fair to say most of the concern was directed at the large loan associated with the transaction. I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. Good luck the rest of the way!

Have no issues with this being vetoed since that’s everyone’s right but in a dynasty league I’m giving up 4 players in above market contracts who likely wouldn’t make sense to resign given their values for 4 players in their early 20s in below market contracts. If we just made 4 separate trades, it would be no different than the manny machado trade.

Morning, all. Not looking to destroy the integrity of the league, and so my response here isn’t intended to serve as a defense, persuade, or foster a raging message board. For simple and quick context, it is important to share the trade was made in good faith. I don’t want to speak for WIP, as I don’t know his rationale, but I did not solicit the offer, nor had I made any recent offer to him prior to, despite all three of the hitters being on his trade block and open for business.

I just reviewed the trade and cast a veto vote. I assume many others have as well. This trade by any objective standard is lopsided to the point it threatens the league’s integrity.
