I've got a lot of $ tied up in SPs. Probably looking to deal one before the draft. Hellickson ($20) for a cheap prospect or two (hitters ideally) would be of interest.

Sad part is I actively dislike Lind, but can't ignore his upside at a weak position.
-
I think other people here are in a position to accumulate guys who provide a high concentration of points at a single position, but I'm not in that position so I'm spreading it around for now.
-
Yeah that too...
-
You're in buy Yankees, sell others mode always. But I'm not much better...
-
I'm in sell high buy low mode right now.
-
Similar salary, more total upside for my roster, and nice reach upside.
-
Pretty sure Cain+Espinosa for Latos+Romo would've been the winner of those.

"Let's keep the insane trades rollin" seems to be the league's modus operandi right now.

It originally started as my offer of Martin for Melancon and grew from there. I'd been eyeing McCuthchen for a while as I think he can provide similar value to some of the elite OFs that'll be in the draft, but at a cheaper price.
-
I guess Yankees just really needed Adam Lind...

Randy has claimed Just Killing time, down to Goodell, Posey and Bazinga left at the moment, possible some/all of the others will become available. If you want to call dibs on a team not listed, email me!

If anyone's looking to join a 5x5 league here on ottoneu, my one dead league has 4 spots opening up (at least). Niv made me the commissioner, so we'll start getting new owners in this weekend. If you guys want a specific team, you'll all get dibs.

Yeah, sure BABIP. I'll trade Skaggs, Arenado, Leubke, and Darvish for Alex Rodriguez.

All I want is that Arenado guy. They can have the rest. (I kind of like Izturis as a backup option too, though).

I'm loving all the trade offers, but I seriously need to trade at least one of: Pujols, Hanley, Felix, Halladay, or Lincecum.

I would agree that it needs to be agreed upon at least one full year in advance, but I would be a fan of using lwts against. Not sure how you would value IP however, but I'm sure I can come up with something.

Pretty sure I want no more changes after this--though linear weights against for pitchers would be really interesting, for a league that was just starting out--but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
-
If we ever get customizable scoring, I would be in favor of something linear-weights oriented, vs FIP oriented.

Late to the discussion on the scoring change, but I'm against a change only because of the timing of it.

Prey tell, Mike, what is it that you are suggesting about Stanford Yankees and Brendan's strategy?
