10 seconds, I thought.

That's including players voted off through arbitration, and assuming everyone fills out a 40-man roster.

No specific unavailable times for me/Doug. Anyone remember what the auction time limit (to lock in the last bid) was last year? Just curious because it looks like we have 173 auctions to run, so it could still take a while.

This is probably earlier than anyone wanted to have the draft anyway, but I know right now that I will be unavailable from March 13 to March 18

At the very least you should have had a cut penalty haha

Oops! I thought the rosters totally locked after a certain point?

Hmmm 12:03 AM cuts, what will happen with those?
-
The final count down! Just a few hours left to cut 'em.

Any players involved in a trade accepted today or tomorrow wouldn't be cuttable till after the auction.
-
I am opposed to the player give away. At least have them trade you someone and release em.
-
Anyway, just so everyone knows, Rivera and Youk are available for free.
-
Would anyone veto a trade of Youk and/or Rivera to another team for free? If you are sure what you'd do if that kind of trade were accepted, I'd appreciate a firm "yes" or "no".

Miggy ready confirmed the move to 3rd

And they can sell the team's aerobic equipment. But that will probably be offset by the number of folding chairs killed in the lockerroom.

Actually, just sign Todd Coffey and Dmitri Young. Then you can lay off the team nutritionist and save some money to go towards Prince's contract.

They should trade for Kyle Blanks and go for best manboobs outfield.

I would think not, Inge is a bench guy if Miggy plays 3B (which I don't see happening, I think he's an LF at best)

if miggy moves to 3rd, do they dh inge?

Miggy in LF..... good lord, you people.

kinda cool that fielder is following in his astranged fathers footsteps as well
-
Congratulations Ligers, Miggy just became the most valuable player in the game.
-
If I were them, I would probably play Miggy in LF, and swap Fielder/Martinez around at DH when Martinez isn't catching. When Martinez is catching, Fielder at DH and Miggy at 1B.

Miggy could handle LF, doesn't require as much quick twitch as 3B either, so he's likely to be better at LF than 3B. Of their main 3 DH candidates, I'd have to think Martinez is the most likely to play 3B at some point.

?jajajaja! "Volver? a la tercera base que es mi posici?n natural."
-
I think he is way too slow to play in the outfield too. I don't get why they don't just DH one of them but I've heard nothing that suggests they will so far. Plus they already basically have 3 COF (Young, Boesch, Raburn).

RF or LF is far more likely than 3B, I'd think.

If the Tigers continue acquiring behemoths maybe Miggy will move all the way back to SS, where he started off in A ball.
