Someone named Ty France is currently the projected starter at 3b in San Diego, so I don't think a Machado signing would affect Tatis's arrival timeframe.

It would not be in my best interests if Harper returnef to D.C. or Machado wound up in SD.

I didn't enter the draft w/ replicating the process in mind... Just got all jumpy when those young guys came up for bidding... Out of habit more than anything. Brewers should send Hiura to Braves for some pitching and Braves can move Albies to SS. Local news had a great profile on Dahl tonight... So good to be getting baseball coverage again.

Welp, with Moose back at 3rd in Milwaukee, Shaw is entrenched at 2nd for the season, so Hiura is another full year away. Now I feel better about missing out on him. And I’m guessing NGB is fine with that development as well since he appears to be replicating The Process.

Interesting discussion, but it surprises me how misguided otherwise solid players are about arbitration. Your team will cost $70 more next year, but how much of it goes to whom doesn't matter.

BP says range of possibilities for Tatis still includes Gregorius. Gregorius went for $1... So, potentially, you really stuck it to Mikey by bidding him up to $19.

Stats, My favorite source of Intel has Vladito ranked as 20th best dynasty player. My guess is that he's only that low because of no mlb track record yet. His best price comps might be Acuna and Soto, who went for $43 and $42; so you're probably doing okay at $35.

Regarding Vladito, he's the 24th most expensive bat in this league. Does anyone think he's less than a top 20 dynasty bat? The more I think about it, $35 seems cheap.

I want to free up some roster spots but don't really have anyone I want to cut, so I'm looking to make a 3 or 4 for 1 if someone would like to improve the quality of their depth. Ketel Marte, Max, and deGrom are about the only players I have who I'd be reticent to move, so I'm open to any and all ideas from 3/4 $5 arms for one $12 arm, to a big ole blockbuster.

Ok, I restored the Crew's roster because he had dug himself quite a hole and the season hasn't started. If this was during the season I'd have checked with folks before doing this. Please let me know if you think I shouldn't have done this (the whole "commissioner's powers" thing is new to me).
