I didn’t see the game (I did go back to watch the 9th inning, which was really something; Mets gotta Met) but in the box score and pitch fx Max looked...fine? And he wasn’t Paxton but he was a lot more help to the Loquiturs cause than DeGrom. Looks like he left a cutter up to Panik, but Max gives up HRs. Was there more (less?) to his night that doesn’t come through in the numbers?

Generally (in other league) I don't move my RPs in and out of my lineup based on recent workload. I trust the real life managers to know how to manage that and not put a dead-armed reliever out there. I'm hereby revoking that trust in Davy Martinez.
