โLike year oneโ??!! Yes, that went down to the wire, but I lost it on the 163rd game just last year, Fred.
-
I hope this race goes down to the last day, like year 1 when Mikey won it
-
For fucksakes, is it really asking too much for someone to take Lance Lynn yard
-
Yu trying for CG
-
Davies was definitely a one and done.
-
went to add Severino to my sp slot for todays game vs toronto forgetting i dont have him in this league
-
Was thinking of picking up Davies on waivers until I saw his next start and last start is at Rockies
-
If Hitch had a better day yesterday, I would have claimed him, which would have meant cutting Daniel Murphy. I had a waiver claim in on Miley, but after another lousy start, I pulled that and put the big bid in on Voth. Considered going higher, but that would have required two cuts.
-
That time of year
-
You gotta love a $23 Voth.
-
Oh, I'll call you something.
-
call me Master Po , drew grasshopper
-
I followed Brewโs suggestions on Tallinn and Mazara, so I guess all good.
-
I'm good with a commissioner's cut.
-
Iโm happy to cut him, but it wonโt make my roster legal given my lack of funds. Iโd have to cut a higher dollar player to cover the difference and have enough $$ left for the rule about having enough money to cover 40 roster spots. Thatโs what Iโm trying to avoid. Cutting the lower salary guys wonโt really help much
-
Your*
-
Mazera is not a keeper for next year at uoyr salary, also Tallion is out all next year and who is to.say what he is like in 2021
-
You couldnโt afford Davis, so why not just cut him? I see you wonโt quite be immediately legal but you will be once heโs re-auctioned. Or you could just cut some other dudes. Not like everyone on that roster is a cherished keeper
-
I vote for leniency... what form that takes matters not to me.
-
Oh great and argumentative managers of fantasy baseball. I seek your leniency in the recent Khris Davis auction. I accidentally started the auction in the wrong league and after realizing what I did, I figured someone would outbid me and let the auction go (he was a 32$ guy!). I am happy to give him back to the pool or just have an illegal lineup for the last week if you deem it acceptable. I'd prefer not to make the cuts necessary to make my lineup legal, but will if you demand sacrifice.
-
Henry is like an ardvark sniffing up all the ants when they get cut
-
i used to own Kelly too... going back to what someone said a few weeks ago, it does make it enjoyable to have races that come down to the last week or even last day
-
Got a 50 spot from Merrill Kelly last night. Clearly itโs his year
-
Henry stepped on the gas and is in 1st !! This week will be compelling
-
No more Ketel. Sigh
-
More productive than Trout. Only Arenado has done better for me.
-
Thanks Brew, he was my second most productive player for the games I owned him... 9.09 ppg!
-
I think a whole lot of people dropped Gurriel.
-
I dropped Guriel at end if May in other league when he had a .300 slugging % and only played 1 day in 3
-
I didn't even start Odorizzi at first after I picked him up. Missed out on like 15 innings and 75 points because I didn't trust him.
-
He may have, but adding Lance Lynn and Odorozzi after you dropped them both (not blaming you for that) has been his most important moves of the season. Fucking Lynn is putting up over a thousand points.
-
Henry had a great draft
-
I still think he's the favorite. I just think he finishes 30 or so innings behind.
-
Dodgers drive me crazy though. They keep turning starters into relievers. First Maeda, then Gonsolin. What ever happened to the six man rotation?
-
I'm pretty sure I can get all my innings with the pitchers I have, and I have some great last day matchups...if they actually happen.
-
Donโt think heโs gonna have to use them all, just like half of them might be enough
-
I don't know. He still has to use them. What, 11 days to go? It's going to be hard to get 10 IP a day.
-
With the most innings left, Henry looks to be our champion here
-
Rizzo came back out of nowhere was supposed to be in walking boot through Sunday
-
Kimbrel is activated
-
Austin riley sighting red alert
-
I thought HENRY had domingo German too
-
Ph**king Phillies.....this is what I get for pulling for the phils
-
I think it's a disgrace there is a 4 k gap between 11th and 12th.
-
Henry is having more fun watching the live scoring than I am.
-
Interesting to watch the live stats right now, where I'm pitching Soroka, Hitch is pitching Musgrove, and Kevin is pitching Nola. In another league I'm pitching all three in a last gasp attempt to make second place. I guess that team must go down.
-
Yes, Bauer has actually been more useful since the trade than I expected; I havenโt used him every start but I have gotten 14 innings of 6 points per inning.
-
what also makes it more competitive , and everyone is on their own volition to do it, is team 2 team side bets. Such as my bet with the villainous Pat , which has motivated me to scrape out every point (in vain) .
-
As someone who has attempted to take on salary this season, I would say the salary cap has made the league more competitive. With unlimited loans, a dud like Bauer I could have stashed for spot starts, instead of using him as an offset for more trading.
-
I'm using this league as go for it every year , be in the now, throw caution to the wind. Whereas in original league, taking more cautious , measured team building approach.
