Ichiro dropped Pena Milb.
-
We have to be under the cap by midnight tomorrow.
-
Clark Schmidt and Florial were cut by Jd off his Milb roster
-
I had a question on trading MILB picks. U can trade the MILB pick and the MILB player as u would trade any player on your roster. The only restriction is that your MILB roster at no time can go over 10 spots. Any trades of this type will be posted on the message board. All MILB current players should be on our restricted list. Any questions just ask.

Castillo at $25, offers before I cut him
-
Zod - I can help with minor league rosters as well.

MILB Rules listed below.

The 10 MILB spots passed with no objections.....I will start expanding the MILB sheet and update the rules to reflect the ten spots. We started the MILB draft last year after the regular draft. Is that Ok with everyone? I know we have a few new teams and how it works is that U will get 12 hours to make your pick. The draft will run in a snake draft format 1-12 then 12-1 til all spots are filled. Any MILB drops must be in by the deadline. Any questions please let me know.
-
Yep, I can help you out with the minor league rosters.

Y

Once the guy is called up he is assigned a $1 salary and has to stay on the 40 man.
-
Gotcha. I vote Y

He would need to stay on your MLB roster.
-
Quick question from me about how this effects our current rosters: Would this mean that I could move Royce Lewis, i.e. from my active roster to my MILB or would he need to stay on my MLB team?

Y for me
-
Y- I am in. Lets give it til 2-14 if we dont have an objection I will expand the list to 10. HC and Ichiro will u give me a hand making sure the MILB rosters stay legal if this passes. I have JD tied up in two other leagues giving me a hand running em.

LEAGUE VOTE: Do we expand the number of MILB roster spots from 5 to 10 for this season and beyond? Please reply Y or N.
-
I guess Zod was overthinking it...Whatever u guys want I am in. Any changes U want to make just put em up for a vote. I do suggest tho that everyone should be in agreement on any rule change.
-
I'd be interested in expanding to 10, as well.
-
I believe we should only be able to draft players not yet rostered. I like the idea of milb draft before the primary draft. If we do after, I would supoort that butnwould suggest we expand the number of eligible milb roster spots to 10..
-
Wandering Hands gets me! Haha That is exactly what I was trying to say.
-
Seems like we're overcomplicating this. I think Ichiro is just suggesting we do it the same as last year, with the MILB draft after the auction. That way, if someone likes a free agent minor league player enough to roster him they can bid on him in the auction rather than risk missing out on him in the MILB draft. I am fully in favor of that.
-
No I understand the idea is to bid on undrafted MILB players. If I have this right for the milb draft. Issue is say u bid on player x and his salary for Milb is 17. If u drop him does he go to 9 and does that come off the $400? Do we have a cap? Right now Milb players are 0 til called up. On the bid do we take it off the $400? Just some questions I would have.
-
Yeah, I just meant minor league players that aren't currently on anyone's roster.
-
The problem I see with the bid structure is that its unlimited and then what happens if u bid $30 on a player. If u cut him u would have no penalty. I think we could amend the Milb rules but that would take everyone's approval. We all run this league so if anyone wants to put it to a vote please do. What do u do with a $30 MILB when he hits your active lineup would u have to be under the cap? if we go this way we have to think about it. We would need 12 owners approval tho on a rule change
-
JD - are you saying you think we should be able to auction players already on an owner's milb roster? I strongly oppose that idea, and I don't believe that's what Ichiro was suggesting.
-
I also do like Ichiro idea about being able to bid on MiLB players. We can treat it like Rule 5. If a player on someone list is drafted then they must roster him all year. Zod what do u think

I vote for after as well for the same reason that Ichiro listed.

I vote after. I think we should have the ability to bid on a player eligible for the MiLB draft in the main draft and have them on our active roster.
-
MILb drops can be made at any time prior to the MILB draft. The question to the league is do u want to have the MILB draft before or after our fantasy draft? Last year I think it was after, but if u want something to draft we can start it Feb 20. The decision will be a league decision.

Papi here our the rules for the MILB roster. Any questions just ask....
