Hey everyone, I just took this team over...looking forward to it.
-
Enjoyed this. Thanks. Let's hope we all get back next year.
-
Thanks! I really enjoyed this year. Always fun here at BIS & Friends.

Congrats on the win Hammers. It was a fun season and already looking forward to next year's draft. Is everyone coming back?
-
Congrats to Hammers. You certainly blew us away in September. I was pretty even with you at one point early in the month and then you took off. You kept me off a 3-pete but next year I go for 3 out of 4.
-
Maybe not, but I love this league and the competition, so I want to keep it going.

Not close enough
-
As hot as my offense was 2 weeks ago, it's that cold now. Things are getting much closer.

That may be true, but it's still frustrating to see a pitcher you nearly started explode for 78 on the bench. Although, I'm thinking it may be worse to see a pitcher you nearly sat score -10 in your lineup.

Hammers you are far enough ahead that even if you got 0 points out of your innings I would only pull even with you.
-
Damn! 78 point, cg, 1-hitter on my bench. I'm too cautious with my innings.

@hammers You built a 500 point lead in a week. While you have proved it is not impossible. I think you are near lock now. On the 4th I thought I really had a shot at a three-peat but not now.
-
If I could just keep from sitting pitchers that throw 50pt games I wouldn't be worried.

And another. The Hammers are so far ahead now I just don't see anyone catching them. I'll keep trying but I think the battle is now for 2nd.
-
Yawn. Another boring 100 point offensive night for the Hammers.
-
I had a great weekend. Hope I can keep it up.

Hammers your offense is getting out of control. I'm now back to over 200 out.
-
Hammers are pulling away a bit. I'm practially 175 back and Live Mas is at 150. We need that Hammer offense to get cold fast.
-
Yeah I had a great night behind 5 HRs across my OF and a gem from Sonny Gray. This is exciting!

Well we have a true lead change now. Hammers went nuts last night and pulled ahead. Live Mas is 50 back with 3 less innings pitched is basically even. I'm about 120 back when you look at innings.
-
Well I'm back in first but really down 100. Sandoval did his part tonight.

20 years later, bucs are back in the black.

Really close one this year. Only 140 points from 1st to 3rd!

It seems there is a race for league all the sudden. I'd still give 90% odds to Live Mas but I am in reasonable striking distance with one month to go for a third straight title and Hammers are closer than me due to less innings pitched.
-
Can't take the money with me. Might as well spend it.
-
Live Mas - You were not going to lose on Smoak
-
I like arbitration
-
maybe we should try amped up notifications this offseason and if we are close to or at 100% rehash the idea for the following year...
-
I like the idea of the Allocation system. Maybe if the league admins sent out more/detailed email notifications we could get the participation we need.
-
Allocation sounds interesting, but I think it is safer if we stick to arbitration.
-
Keep arb voting
-
Also I've been operating my team on the assumption that one player will be voted in to Arbitration instead of all my below market players having their salary increase.
-
Yeah the Allocations only work if all the owners participate.
-
I would be in favor of switching to allocation if almost all of team are still active. Last year, I think only 6 teams voted in the arbitration system. Similar participation with the allocation system would be less effective in my opinion.
-
Quick vote from people: We've been using the Arbitration system of voting one player off a team every off-season. Is there any interest in switching to Allocation system of distributing cash to increase other teams player's salaries? Read the Rules...

The Glimmer Twins's trade block has been updated!
-
You would not thought Harvey would be the only pitcher still useful in that trade but that is the case. Reminds me of my brilliant drop of $3 Gomez before the start of the season.
-
Seeing Matt Harvey starting the All Star game reminds me that I traded him with Kennedy and Billingsley for Halladay last year. That sure backfired.
-
For any of you who need OF help, Alex Gordon, Coco Crisp and Josh Reddick are available
-
CleartheHurdle's trade block has been updated!
-
I would not worry about Keppinger. He is pretty useless thus far.
-
Yikes UU&H jumped right on Rubby. That's the second player I've dropped that got snatched up right away (Keppinger). Not a good sign for me.
-
Vandelay Industries 3's trade block has been updated!
-
I'm still down about 400 points but that is a gain of 100 from a week ago. If I can keep up that pace I could be back in this in a month.
-
A couple weeks ago WWL and I were working on a deal to send him Masterson that was close. Getting puig was a part of it. God I'm glad this isn't with people I have to see in person frequently.
-
Miguel Cabrera has decided that he is going to personally overcome my lack of starting pitching.
-
I finally got a run of good starts and Johnson and Chapman combine for -50 in less than one inning to offset it.
-
CleartheHurdle's trade block has been updated!
-
Sandoval going down the day Arenado goes off my roster I think is a bad omen.
