• SABR-tooth, you'll usually find that the auction starts slower while most people still have $$ and roster spots to fill, but speeds up as it goes along. 2-2.5 hours is a reasonable expectation. Unlike some leagues, Ottoneu isn't won or lost in the draft - the free agent universe is wide and deep, and the FA market is active all season.

• Thank you for setting up a pool. My preference would be no on the slow draft. I think a live auction is the best route with an established league. I'm open to opinions. Nominations are required, during the draft we have historically let you "miss" one nomination and then you are locked out for a cycle from bidding. I plan on continuing to enforce that.

• I made a poll to gauge draft availability. No login needed. I suggested 8-11 p.m. EST weeknight slots and generally two Sunday slots (3-6 p.m. EST and 6-9 p.m. EST). Skipped Saturdays except for March 15 (season starts March 18 in Tokyo.) Please vote on every time slot. I’ll share results when we have a quorum.
