Oh man. That's rather unfortunate (in Colin Firth's voice)

Silk, on Friday in another league I’m in, a guy started Ohtani AND Henry Davis (who got two of the four homers) and Lance Lynn AND Byron Buxton (who hit two homers off Lynn) and that was just about the funniest line I’ve ever seen.

The Priester, dressed in his silk robe vestments, orated to the box seats: "The Endy times are nigh. Prepare the way for the dingers!" And it was so, following their debuts.

Shelbyville’s Shelbyvillians saw someday-superstar, Soderstrom, start. Squealing supporters stood, stomped, and screamed salient satisfactions for this supercalifragilisticexpialidocious debut.

The interview wasn't going well following the debut of the North Shore Captains' young outfielder.
"Ok so you're a fire-breathing turtle monster, singularly fixated on kidnapping a mushroom princess, right?" asked the reporter.
"No, that's Bowser," replied Cowser.
"Okay, so you're a living skeleton who is a heavy class kart racer?"
"No, that's Dry Bowser."
"Okay, so you are a mischiev

“Cruise ships can radically alter the economies of coastal towns. The large influxes of people can stimulate tourist-targeting businesses, but they can also strain logistical supports and make it less affordable for long-term residents to live near where they work. But don’t worry; I’m not a cruise ship. I’m just a guy named ‘de la Cruz,’” divulged Elly de la Cruz to reporters, following his debut.

Much like Gary Sanchez was the last draftee to earn points for Shelbyville, the last MiLB draftee for The Wanderers, Bobby Miller, scored (even more) points following his debut last night. Pretty shocking that Wanderers has gotten sterling debuts from both Bobby and Bryce Miller in the same month.
-
I just wanted to take a second to congratulate one of my players. He is the last of my draft picks to score points this season, but it is safe to say he has been a great guy to have in the Shelbyville clubhouse. Our Jason Heyward. He may be third on my catching depth chart, but he is first in everyone heart. Well done Gary Sanchez on going 1 for 3 against the Gaurdians on Sunday and putting up 2.6 points. The Shelbyvillians wouldn't not be a sixth place team without you.

I was listening to effectively wild ep. 2007 when Meg and Ben are discussing Cardinals crazy handling of Contreras. And I laughed so hard when Meg said “you know who’s a free agent next year?—- NOT Wilson Contreras!”
Anyways, I realized I had no one in my life that would understand how funny that was… until I realized I am literally in a fantasy baseball league with a bunch of people that listen to the show. Cheers all, here’s to some good weekend games!

"Life may be little more than a rotten slog to rigor mortis," said Brayan Rocchio, beaming following his debut, "but I'm still glad that out of all the possible lifeforms my soul could inhabit in this mathematically unlikely universe, I occupy a body that grinds out ABs, chops it up with the boys, and give one-hundred-and-ten percent!"

Folks, minor update. I had to move the location of the MiLB tracker sheet. It's identical, but when I created it I accidentally did so on my work account. I'll be leaving that job this month, so it will evaporate, and I couldn't transfer ownership of the document outside my organization. So if you have the tracker bookmarked, please update it to the following link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1R9PX6i8Vc9_jJzXeC8Uhf2GFeTgOPG0ZCEmY6c-KuVk/edit?usp=sharing

Mervis gets his first MLB hit, RBI and standing ovation. Cinco de Mayo will always mean more than a burrito to him and his family now.

Love the Comish recaps. Thanks for being on the ball! Lots of fun, young prospects making their debuts over the past week.

Walking along the rocky, North Shore beach, the Captains bent over to pick up a Stone. "I shall dub thee Gavin, following thy debut," said the Captains to the Stone.

I actually listened to the A's radio broadcast of Bryce Miller's debut with the M's. He pitched so well, I searched him out with the intention of starting an auction. Alas, my wonder was dashed by Wander's foresight.

Bryce Miller got the call to the show yesterday. The big club said "Why don't you wander on past AAA and come straight to the Wanderers in your debut."

" if I tell SR&K that I'll give him five hundred real-world dollars if he trades me Ohtani " Make it a grand and we can talk.
-
That being said, and I'm equally blameworthy on this front, if you're making a big trade, it helps to have an explanation of the trade publicly visible. This can either be in the trade notes themselves or as a post on the message board. This helps the league understand the logic on both sides of big moves. So if you can include some notes with your trades, please do so, especially if they're substantial in player value.

Hey all, I just want to add a quick note on trade vetos. The purpose of the veto is to be a check on collusion, for example if I tell SR&K that I'll give him five hundred real-world dollars if he trades me Ohtani for Adbert Alzolay, that would be against the rules. If I saw that with no explanation, a veto would be warranted. Vetos are not designed to say that you think a trade is dumb, unbalanced, or weird. As long as it doesn't seem illegal, it shouldn't be vetoed.

I heard Wiemer's first at bat via Cubs radio while picking up bay leaves for my DIL. A slicing double down the RF line. I always choke up a bit when I hear a guy get his first MLB base hit. They save the ball, the guy will never forget the moment. Congrats to him. Nice pick, North Shore.

Another debut. Wiemer

Great! I've added Nastrini to AMB. I've also assumed that Thunder Gun still wants Graceffo, so I've added him to TGE's MiLB roster.
With that said, the MiLB draft is now concluded. Any MiLB players without MLB experience may now be traditionally auctioned. Thanks for everyone's participation!
