No kidding...and now we battle within the division. Till we meet again!!

What kind of sadistic MFer schedules a championship game rematch in Week 1 of the next season and AGAIN in Week 5? I'm just happy I ever-so-narrowly survived this first rock fight. See you again April 30, Jody.

Apparently there is a 162 game limit for each position. This is a thing in Roto but I didn't expect to follow in H2H. I'm not a fan and will campaign to remove this for next year. If you go to your lineup at the bottom of the page you can see your projected games played and the limit. So you'll want to sit a guy, from time to time, if he has a bad matchup so you don't exceed your limits. That or sit a bunch in a blow out.
-
You'll notice there is a link for "today's stats" up top. That will let you see how your team, and all others, are doing. You can go back to previous days as well.
-
Individual player performance will be added this week for those not thrilled, like myself, with just a cumulative page.
-
Also. I CANNOT adjust your roster. There are no longer any "illegal" rosters but I can't set your lineup anymore. I would suggest doing it a few days in advance. Fangraphs will say who's pitching 5-7 days in advance once the season starts. You can get away with leaving your hitters in, for the most part, but your starting pitchers will need to be cycled in and out almost every day to credit for their stats.
-
If you check your roster, and make sure it's your "lineup", you'll see what pitchers are starting and who each batter is supposed to face on opening day. Get your lineups ready!
-
Hey all. Opening day is almost upon us. Just a reminder that you can only start two starting pitchers in a day. Fangraphs will note if a pitcher is a starting that day usually up to a week in advance. You can set your lineup a few days ahead if you'd like. In the past there is a little arrow next to their name. It will generally indicate if a player is out of the lineup once a team's announce it that day.

Here's a tool you guys may enjoy. It's called the Roster Organizer. Its located on your team page. Hit the link and it takes you to a page where you can move guys around without affecting your official lineup. You can place guys into "cut" or "trade" and it will adjust your cap. If hit "add target" you can put a fictional player in, along with his salary, to see how it affects your roster. You can also put guys on the DL or minors. It's just a tool for planning, it

Rosters should be all set. You can start auctions, propose trades, etc. On the top of the page, to the right of "Trade" is a little box. That link takes you to the Direct Message page. You can hit people up about trades and shit.
-
I want to apologize to everyone in here last night I really thought I could multitask drafting and drinking with some friends. My phone had other ideas and had I been at home I Would have been able to jump on the computer so I own up to that. Anyways I am having my phone replaced today because of this. Hopefully I can find some scraps left and salvage something.

You don't have to fill your 40 man roster. There are no illegal lineups, no DL, and no minor leagues anymore. Your roster is large enough to accommodate all of your needs. You do need to allocate $1 for each roster spot, filled or not. I personally like to keep $10-$20 of cap space, post draft, for free agents and/or trades. You can send and receive cash in trades, however. There is a 50% penalty for a cut but you would get that cash back if a player is signed by another team.
-
Also, I have noticed, on my Chrome browser, that I had to knock the page magnification down to 80% for all the boxes to fit in the draft room.
-
Tomorrow's draft is pretty simple. To enter there is a draft room link on the upper left part of this page. We have a "Draft order". When it is your turn, you nominate a player with a dollar amount and the frenzy begins. You can add players to a watch list so when it is your turn to nominate, you can just go. I won't penalize anyone for failure to nominate when it is your turn but try and nominate please. It's a dick move to skip your turn and makes the draft take longer.
-
You'll notice that we have divisions! H2H has been activated in settings and we are almost 100% a go. Trades now take 24 hours instead of 48.
-
Now that everyone is drying their tears from last night's loss it's time to prep for this Sunday's draft. It's imperative that you attend. There is no auto draft for an auction. If for some reason you can't attend please let me know asap so I can see if I can get someone to draft for you.
-
Ok, so cut day has come and gone. Some pretty big names added to the draft pool. Rosters are frozen until after the draft. See you on Sunday 2/11 at 8p EST!
-
Also, the salary cap is up to $400 and the roster is 40 players. You do not have to roster 40 players. But you are required to slot $1 for each roster spot. On your team page you'll see what your total cap number is. That is not an accurate number. You'll have to add the number of empty rosters spots to that number to get your real cap number. After the draft it will be accurate.
-
Ohtani. He will be eligible at both SP and Util. On days he's a starter, he will only get credit for pitching stats. On days he DH's he can get points in the Util slot.
-
If anyone is wondering there is ONE catcher in the starting lineup. Ignore the second slot. Also, there are no caps on hitters or pitchers. The only restrictions will be that only two starting pitchers can be in the lineup on each day and a pitcher must be in his role the day he pitches to get credit. So if a pitcher is a RP slot and starts the game, he gets no points.

**Sorry, cuts are due Wednesday by midnight, not Tuesday**
-
Just a reminder that cuts are due by Tuesday at midnight. After that, no cuts or trades can be made until after the Auction draft and you get hit with a 50% penalty on cuts (unless the dropped player is picked up). No one right now is over the cap or over the roster limit so I won't go around hounding anyone to make cuts. I will be reminding the shit out of all of you about the draft on 2/11, however.

You can also select "Players" https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/845/search and the select "Sortable Stats" http://www.fangraphs.com/fantasyleaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=major&qual=0&type=8&season=2017&month=0&ft=0&fl=845 Then from the drop down box select the team. http://www.fangraphs.com/fantasyleaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=major&qual=0&type=8&season=2017&mon

but you can check out stats for everyone individually, or as a league, a few ways. For an individual player go to his page https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/845/playercard?id=18480 Then on the upper left you'll see, under his name, "Fangraphs Profile". Hit that http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=17678&position=3B and see all his stats.
-
Scoring, at least for this year, is done by Fangraphs points. So basically a batter gets credit for only what he does. No RBI, no Runs. Anything that is dependent on another player is out the window. Same with pitchers. If your starter leaves the game with runners on base, and a reliever screws the pooch, it doesn't hurt you.

and another note. A pitcher can only get credit for stats when he is the role he's place in on the starting lineup. For example, using a guy as a RP when he's SP/RP and he starts gets you no points. So be aware.
