Everyone, I tentatively set the Sunday before the season starts as draft day. Since there still isn't much clarity on the MLB schedule yet, I might have to move it around like last time. Just a heads up

For some reason I can't start Jake Cronenworth? I got him via auction on August 26th but I can't put him in my lineup anywhere. Am I missing some rule where you can't start a guy until X days after winning him? Everyone else on my bench can be moved into my lineup

Perez will have to start 5 games at C to get eligibility--looks like no changes to that rule this year.

Question - Player Eligibility - Salvador Perez still listed as Utility when he's been catching, when can he be reinstated to being a catcher as well as utility?

Yeah I'm much more for making it closer to the season, so we know if anyone is going to opt out or not due to being high risk

Works for me! I do remember the draft usually needs a second night to finish so I’m also down to make it a marathon session on a weekend day if people want

Its probably not gonna work for me and I wanted to move it closer to the season anyway so we all have the best info on the status of who we're drafting. With most of our plans/activities disrupted after work anyway, I was thinking we could even do a week day draft. All options are open though so please try to give me an idea of availability. Looking forward to actually having something to do/watch!

According to the "Coronavirus Updates" link at the top of the page, we can move the draft to any time before the season starts. I've moved it two weeks out for now but may have to move it again if the season keeps getting pushed and we collectively want to draft as close to the season start as possible.

I talked to Ryan (our other commissioner) the other day, I'm going to move it if possible. It's not great to be bidding on players that are currently injured and may be healthy by start of season.

I don't really have an opinion myself, though I agree it might be a good quiet period to get it done.
Just FYI, the innings/games limit will be adjusted to account for the shortened season.

I don't have a strong opinion on this. Delaying it does make sense, though if we end up on lockdown we might actually have some free time to get it out of the way...

Only heard back from a couple of people that remembered what they paid for players that got voted off and it seemed to have been working. So I just assumed it likely worked for everyone given I only heard the one complaint.

Was the issue with the $5 discount not showing up ever fixed?

Please remember to complete your Arbitration Voting by 11/14/19! Click "Arb Voting" in the top-left of the home screen and go through each team, voting off one player from each team. The voted off player will be entered into the auction draft pool but will be available to the previous owner at a slight discount.

My discount wasn't applied for DeGrom. Drafted for $39 and should be $34, but he is listed at $39

Can everyone do an investigation of their team and see if you got the $5 discount for re-signing a voted off player? I got a complaint that the discount wasn't applied and it looks like it was the case with my Gerrit Cole signing (I honestly can't remember if $29 was the actual bid but that's what it says). IF its a problem for everyone I can retroactively apply the discount.

Only regular season games count so the Japan games would reduce your playing time limits. Spring training games won't.

Looks like its not possible to retroactively set the lineups so we are all stuck with no points for yesterday. I'm mildly irked with Ottoneu that when I hit "done with draft" it didn't end it and I actually had to let it cycle through all owners before it realized we were done but it is what it is.

Thanks! Things are working now. Not sure if the commish can set lineups retroactively. If so, to be fair, we would all have to agree to play everyone who played in today's game just so we aren't cherry-picking just the guys who did well today
