• I'm all aboard for a slow draft. I've done slow drafts in the past and think it's a great idea for any league that can't agree on a draft date. These ottoneu leagues aren't the easiest to organize a good time for everyone. The biggest apprehension is usually owners being afraid to draft in a way they have never done, but it always works out well.

• 12/8 is actually quite high. So if I bid $1 on a guy everyone has 12 hours to see it and up the bid. And when someone does the bid starts over so it's like 20+ hours per player but we are bidding on 24 at one time. It's fun and addicting but also torture. Trust me, you don't want it longer, it's plenty long enough. Every ball player has a limit and once a player hits that limit it's pointless to wait longer just like the auction. You're gonna want to get those guys off the board.

• I'm fine with a slow draft. Since we have a month until the Tokyo series we wouldn't have to set the parameters quite as strict, especially since we appear to have people spread across at least 5 time zones with a total of 17 hours of difference between them.

• It's called Couch managers. You'd have to import all the current rosters and their salary into the system. Takes some time but not bad. You set the parameters for 12 hours and 8 hours. 12 is for initial bids and 8 is for any counter bid. Everyone bids and checks it in their free time. After the best players are gone you can lower the time to 8 and 8. Assign everyone 2 nominations and maybe boost that to 3 after the best players are gone too.

• The fairest time would be something like 9:30pm EST, which is 8:30pm Central and 6:30pm West but that would be something like 11:30 am for Japan. Maybe slow draft is best.

• I’m in Tokyo. A 5 or 6pm central time (NoMas mentioned this) translates to a morning for me, which is doable. That said, I think slow drafts are good too. Could start a slow draft at the beginning of March…

• March 14th at 7 PM Central (8 PM Eastern) works for me. I work so can not do weekdays to match up with European time. Even weekends during the day are tough for me so evenings are definitely best.
