May 13, 2025 7:33 PM : Gilbert (elbow) threw roughly 25 pitches at about 90 percent effort during Tuesday's bullpen session, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
Analysis: Gilbert was able to ramp up the intensity for his final few throws of the day, exceeding 94 miles per hour on multiple occasions. Most importantly, the right-hander didn't experience any discomfort with his elbow. Gilbert will likely begin a rehab assignment in the near future, though the Mariners haven't yet provided word on his next steps as he works his way back from a right elbow flexor strain.
