Trades should only be rejected if there is clear evidence of collusion or similar behavior. As Cats said, what's "fair" is often up to personal opinion.

Owners are free to make deals that allow them to build the teams that they want. A trade doesn't have to have equal in everyone's eyes. Beauty is often in the eye of the beholder. I definitely like one side of the deal more than the other, but if both owners made the deal in good faith I see no reason to not approve.

Sweepers messaged me immediately after accepting this trade that they meant to reject it. Sonoma has been looped in and will work to nullify the trade, so this specific bit is moot. However, I will say that Jung has been on my block for a year and a half without so much as a nibble. Feel free to send me an offer if he’s so sought after

Or it's two teams trading from areas of depth. Or, if you prefer, one team trying to replace a star 3B by trading for a 27 year-old former all-star and the team with the top 3B in the league trading a depth piece for youth and bullpen help. Bullpen pieces are generally less valuable to non-contending teams and very few RPs should be kept at $4 or more. 🤷♂️
