Just an FYI for people new to Ottoneu in general. If you cut someone whose salary is, let's say, $20 ($10 penalty), and they are still not claimed a month later, you can re-nominate them and if you win the auction you can cut them again and halve the penalty to $5. And so on each month. All of your penalty guys should eventually be down to $1 or claimed by another team. You'll see people you can re-nominate on your rosters screen to the right in bold.

I'm in a similar spot. My kiddo made a last minute decision to join his school talent show, which is tonight.I'll leave after he performs, which hopefully gets me home in time. I definitely appreciate the extra minutes. But start on time. I'll join when I am able.
