PSA - getting some kind volunteers from the slack community to come in and complete arbitration, you'll probably get a lot of e-mail noise about teams being abandoned and picked up today, but everyone joining today is just temporary to get us all caught up on allocating arb.. thanks

I dislike wasting arb dollars, but I am also not a fan of arbitration-by-proxie.
Maybe instead of proxies, there is a formula or framework we could use to assign unused arb dollars from abandoned teams? Not certain what that would be. I would not want it to be overly complicated. It is imperfect, but assign dollars to the player on each team with the largest gap between actual and average salaries?

Not a problem, just wanted to make sure it didn't go to spam. Agree, probably better if we keep trying the "organic" route first, if need be we can turn to claim a team later. Meanwhile we can maybe look for proxies to arb for the dead teams. Thoughts anyone?

All, I am looking for a co-pilot to help me run the league. I was introduced to Ottoneu after playing fantasy baseball for decades in Yahoo, ESPN, CBS, and others. Love it here BTW. But the guy who brought me in, asked me to be his co-commish and then bailed just after. Thankfully Rocky came in and saved my rear and helped a TON. Set up the slow draft, helped recruit, and was awesome. Now that he is leaving, I'm here, but not experienced and really could use some help if anyone is willing.

(2/3) I plan to stick around until the transition is settled so that the league is left in a good place. We had a lot of necessary turnover to bring new owners in here and spice up the league a bit. This is a great league with a great group of people and I'll miss competing with y'all here to bring another trophy to the Oysters. I'll do my best to find a solid replacement owner from the community to carry the torch, as well as someone for Fairhaven unless y'all have any names (let us know!)

(1/3) Hi all, mmaude here from Oysters. Just wanted to share that I'm planning to leave this league ahead of the 2023 season (as well as co-owner slow, an absent owner all throughout 2022 but brought tremendous vibes). This also means I'll be departing as co-commissioner. I can work on finding my own replacement within Slack (and get someone willing to Co-Commish w/ Moon Shots) but if there are any volunteers to partner with Moon Shots please reach out. Note we also need a replacement for FHVN

hey folks, i have (hopefully) imported everyone from our auction draft, we're now officially in the preseason! thanks for a fun draft, and i'm glad we had positive feedback on the draft, will definitely have it as a strong option for next year.. please review your rosters and let me know if you see any discrepancies, everything gets imported from a CSV so there shouldn't be any fat-finger errors, but just let me know
