• Empire and I were negotiating a trade in which I thought I was trading him C. Walker from AZ when he was asking for J. Walker from St. Louis. As such I cut a player to make my roster valid for trades and then realized we were talking about different people. I’ve asked him to instead return Hernandez to my roster in return for cutting Christian Walker.

• I got a system note this morning saying Rhys declined to renew his team, so it's been marked abandoned. Lou Brown has someone interested in taking it over, so we should have it covered soon. We also have a new manager who has claimed Munson (now called Dyer Jays), who I'm sure will introduce himself on the message board shortly.

• I would prefer to keep the draft day the same, I also have accommodated time off at work. Commish, you know the history of the league and I trust your judgement if you think someone needs to be replaced

• I think Empire identified the issues our league is facing. Even in that shortened season we drafted at our usual time, if my memory is correct, but as we’ve seen the past two years when one manager is absent from the draft it is not ideal. We can certainly overcome one not being present, but two may present unique challenges. If we can find a replacement as Corn has indicated I think that would be preferable and give us the best chance to keep us on schedule.

• If we have people who’ve taken the day off from work, we should try to stick with it. If Niv doesn’t auto-change the date, I think we should draft on Feb 19 as planned. CoC (and anyone) - if you have someone who wants to take a team, message me their info and we’ll set up the swap. Given that this is the first time Rhys has been slow on anything, I’d like to give him time to respond. Munson never responds to DMs, missed arb and the last draft, so we need to replace him at this point.

• I would prefer not to change the date. I work weekends typically and have used PTO to get the date off. However if everyone else thinks we should I will figure it out. If we need a last minute replacement for one of those guys I think I know one person who would do it.

• I’m okay pushing the draft back or just leaving it as it’s currently scheduled. We tend to draft in mid Feb each season and don’t usually have any issues with it. Two issues currently come to mind though: 1) Munson and Rhys haven’t renewed or responded to messages, so I’m not sure of their status for the draft. 2) Niv may shift the system dates again depending on the MLB, which might take the choice out of our hands

• The player pool doesn’t seem like it will be affected, other than maybe Seiya Suzuki, due to the lockout so I I don’t think we need to delay the draft. I’m trying to think of any issues that came up with us drafting early on the short season, and I don’t remember anything coming up…thoughts?

• The most active in trades are easily Empire and Lou Brown. Next tier would be Bat Flip, Rhys, and Dharma. Most of us try and give input on any proposed trade or trade dialogue within 24 hours or 48 hours at the latest. Leagues are always more fun with active communication between the owners.

• At least for me, Lou Brown, Rigby, Dharma, Bat Flip, and Rhys are very active traders. Dragons, Wagner, and Mercury are much less so. Manfred is new, and Munson hasn’t made a trade ever, so I wouldn’t bother there imo.
