• The hotstove has moved to the end of January, GMs don't want to hand out contracts until right before spring training. I wish there was a transaction period, the lockout year was nice having all of those deals happen around the same time.

• Looks like everyone has completed arbitration. I've added a placeholder date for the auction draft in Feb, but we can figure out an actual date and time after the new year. Don't forget that the next deadline is for team renewal by the end of December.

• Is this group pretty spread out geographically? I am west coast/pacific time. I just know that I'll be traveling that President's Day weekend (Feb 17-20). And personally, I don't mind doing drafts late at night my time. Two kids at home usually means it's hard to carve out all the hours necessary in the middle of the day when they are awake.

• Glad to have agreed to the first set of trades! I'm excited to be here. On a separate note, (and I know there is a lot of time still) I'm relying pretty heavily on the previous comment about the draft date being 'highly moveable.' I do not believe I will be available to draft at that date/time combo.
