Hi all -- Just wanted to call everyone's attention to the fact that the basic league price will be going up to $20 next year (see link at the top of the page). I hope that doesn't dissuade anyone from being in the league -- everyone seems pretty committed and we're having another good season.

Just lost Sanchez and Correa to the DL. I think that's the last straw. Everyone on my trade block is available. I'm open for business. Willing to take on bad contracts and send out loans. Looking for assets to take into next year.

As was said, I think the system prevents abuse -- if you have more than 40 players, you can't really make any other moves until you get legal. So, yes, someone could carry 41 (non DL) players for a short time but it should be self-policing pretty quickly.

i was looking and trying to figure out who was gonna get cut and see if i could use that player.....and since i cant win an auction id try a waiver hahahhahaha

You can't do trades, bid on auctions or do waiver claims with an illegal roster as well.

I see rocky's point, as it is technically against the rules. Pre-season is tough though since people aren't checking their rosters every day.

Seems like 48 hrs should be a soft limit but given the time of year I’m not sure it’s a big deal unless someone is intentionally trying to hoard players from others...which would be pretty easy to spot...one spring training exception may be if someone has someone that is headed for the 60 day dl, that they may be given a reprieve since the actual transaction may not take place till the start of the season
