• @mohawk, yeah, there is an equilibrium here. Eventually someone will take a flyer on the player making them rosterable again instead of being a toxic asset that nobody touches. Additionally, you can only do this once every 30 days, while everyone else can nom that player at any time, and the droppee cannot bid on that player inside of the 30 days. It's a perfectly fine rule that morons don't understand.

• I'm all for re-auctioning. In another Otto league we drafted in mid-February. I ended up with Price at $28. Why should I have to carry a $14 penalty for the rest of the year? I'm not surprised that you guys aren't smart enough to figure out that this is a valid and necessary part of the game. Guys get hurt and miss the rest of the season. No owner should have to carry that.

If everyone agreed not to do it then I'd be content, but I'll be damned if I don't use every tool at my disposal to win. • Take Casey Gillaspie. Cut him at a $5 salary. After a month (which is in a couple of days) I can re-auction him at half his original salary rounded up ($3). If no one bids, I can get him on my team for $3 & keep him or cut him again for $2 cap penalty. If someone bids on him, penalty is completely wiped away.
