  • On a more serious note, how dumb are these guys? I get that "wasting" a pitch on a 0-0 count is an easy thing to throw, ultimately doesn't impact the game in a huge way, etc. but from the betting side, I doubt you can get more than $500 down on that type of bet. And someone makes that bet more than 3x, you're automatically going to get flagged. And if you have like 5 or more people make the same bet, that's also going to get flagged.   • When Cleveland (my home team) won the draft lottery in December 2023, the talk was Wetherholt or Kurtz 1:1. All the Cleveland fans said screw Wetherholt, we have enough hit-first middle infield types, take the power bat. Well none of that mattered since Bazzana and Condon played their way into the conversation come July 2024, and people forgot about Kurtz and Wetherholt. Maybe the December 2023 peeps were right all along.

  • Yeah, ok, I admit leaving one guy who hits for the cycle and then another guy who goes 5-5 with 3 HRs on my bench on back to back days wasn't the best move but that's what I get for not checking my lineup at 4am.
