  • Also re GP cap, so long as the player appears in the game then it will count against your cap... so, if you forget to bench Will Smith when Barnes gets the start and Smith later appears only as a defensive sub it will count against your cap, even if Smith never gets a PA.

  • Jumping the gun just a bit to note we are about 1/4 of the way in (insert lewd joke here) and I hope you are all enjoying the standings dogfight that has progressed to this point. Love the effort, keep it up, and those on the sidelines maybe poke your head up now and then if you will. Congrats to Joe on his May 11th championship trophy, always celebrate while you can, it's the zeitgeist.

  • I will address one point on trades, and will credit Tony in noting that there is a big difference b/w being "open" to trades and offers and actually making said things happen... if you're waiting for the former, you might be waiting forever. Usually Kevin is out here doing the Lord's work on that front, though has been a bit quiet this campaign (I'm sure we just need to give him some time, is all), and more of you might want to take a page from that book.

  • Happy Jackie Robinson Day to the assembled! We're 10% of the way in, plenty of time to fix up your roster and make a run at the money (thankfully for me and my squad's lackluster hitting). Really enjoy the passion on display on the message board, not sure we've had that much activity in such a short period... ever, frankly. Keep it up, as you can, and hopefully we will see all the things thaw as we move through Spring.
