Lastly, I'm in a Yahoo fantasy league that is likely losing 2 owners, will know for sure by Monday. Same scoring system as here, everything else is a wee bit different (roster sizes, snake draft, keeper rules, waivers, etc....Walden 2 and Mighty Mighty are already in it). Free to play although we do a $30 prize pool buy-in if you're up for it. Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll send you the rosters.

FYI, FanGraphs has restricted exporting projection spreadsheets to members this year. But today only, it's available to everyone. In case anybody else isn't a member and wants to download projections for auction prep.
-
The 9th actually works pretty well for me, either as scheduled or a little earlier.
-
It’s not, I still owe all a form to work out a time.
Fwiw, everyone paid in already (thank you!), full boat for prizes this year!

You’re right, appears to have bounced the first time. Just sent it again so you should have it now

I got Pinochle's payment via Venmo, I DID NOT get anything from you Hearty Bradishes in my PayPal. I've got 2 payments in there from the owners listed below (Cornucopia and Austin Weird). Please double check. If it's showing or there's confusion, send me a screenshot via email (robgcubreporter AT gmail DOT com) and we'll sort it out.

I'm in for the 40$ for sure, but just tried by Paypal and Venmo and my Norton security system wouldn't let me do it. So pencil me in, money will follow as soon as I find the solution.

PSA for the new guys: don’t think twice about paying your dues directly to Rob. He’s been great with getting payments out as soon as the season ends. Even on the rare occasions when he doesn’t win.

Cornucopia paid. Paul Ehlers

Please include your team name or some obvious indicator if there's a memo section when you send payment, it's hard for me to keep track of who paid and who is who on here without that, especially with the high turnover we've had the last few seasons.

Payouts if everyone participates comes out to $240, $120, $72, $48 and everyone sends it through Venmo or PayPal. We strongly encourage everyone to pay-in, but if you just don't want to or don't have the means right now, you can still play for fun and you're just not eligible for a prize.

I set the draft day for Sunday, March 9th at 1pm EST. But I'll get a form out asking about availability and we'll go through that super fun dance that we do every year. Opening Day is March 18th with Cubs vs Dodgers in Tokyo, otherwise rest of teams start on March 27th. Also, $40 prize pool pay-in is due by our draft day. For the newbies, this is on top of the $20 franchise fee you pay to Ottoneu and it's paid to me and I pay out the top 4 spots at the end of the year (50%, 25%, 15%, 10%).

Got a bunch of guys I probably need to cut but somebody might want - putting some last minute names out there. Betts, Altuve, Imanaga, Will Smith, I think are all close to market price and available for low-priced keepers. Not interested in trading for guys I’m probably just going to cut, though. Willing to package them with prospects or upside guys if it brings surplus value back.
-
Walker Buehler needs to move :), also would move George Kirby or Hunter Greene for a well regarded prospect or two. I got room to keep them but budget is tight. Pretty sure I’m going to dump the 3 guys I just traded for but might have some wiggle room which also means Swanson, Turang and Gurriel Jr will be available once the trade processes

Welcome new guy, happy to have you.
I’m on a crazy rush project at work this week so my apologies if I’m slow to respond or don’t at all.
But get those final cuts in and be sure to renew your team.
I still have some good talent at market prices if anyone has room in their budget (Lindor, Alonso, Buehler, maybe J. Ramirez). Make an offer as I don’t have time to look at rosters this week unfortunately.

Thanks for the welcome! I have only two days until cutdown and a lot of work to do. If anyone is interested in the following players, feel free to reach out. Goldschmidt, Bichette, Perez, Swanson, Muncy, Gurriel, Marte, Suarez, Lowe, Webb, Kelly, Eovaldi, Duran, Diaz, Neris, Wacha, Severino, Gibson, Kremer, Abreu, Foley, Assad, Hicks, Holderman, Ottovino. I need players with single digit salaries that are 25 or under.
-
Got a new manager for the Clinchers. Welcome Adam!
-
It would have to be posted via forums/slack or other Ottoneu communities...I have been posting the openings around but no interest so far, although as mentioned there is likely to be more interest later on. Was just wondering since there was one person who specifically asked about the possibility of a draft
-
I wouldn’t be opposed to a dispersion draft, maybe with a handful of players on each team protected, if it would help get owners. But how would we communicate to prospective owners that we’re doing it? Anyway, people who don’t already have a team won’t be thinking about fantasy baseball for another month, so let’s just keep it in mind in case we get into spring training with unclaimed teams.
-
Dispersal would just be running a snake draft (could be done on google sheets or similar) to allow new managers to claim the players (with their existing salaries) they want on the vacant teams. Just something I've seen other keeper leagues do to help fill openings... but yeah you're right there will be more interest closer to spring
-
Oh yikes, glad you are safe
