Same for me with Lindor and Freeman
-
My team is a little too far out of it to make a run this season. Anyone interested in Syndergaard, Votto, or Carpenter can send offers my way. Looking for some pieces to help my team in 2020.
-
Looks like Blake Treinen went from unstoppable last year to very stompable this year. He has a good salary and a good chance to get back to some semblance of where he used to be. I'm looking for strong replacements for this year, inquire within. "Treinen" something different, so to speak
-
Given Gallo's value for this season will be heavily diminished for this season, I am putting him on the block. If you're looking to next year and have some pieces that will help me this year, let me know. I will be looking to send out offers shortly.
-
Jose Ramirez is over 7 P/G in his last 10 games. Anybody interested in buying?
-
There's a good race going on in this league and it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Participation has been great in the league and everyone has been active in playing for this year, next or 2023. Have a good All-Star break and good luck in the second half!
-
I would prefer the side Winnetka even if I were rebuilding but the prospect haul Moose is getting is pretty good. I don't think that it is totally lopsided (the Trout trade Winnetka mentioned was worse - not current Shark Sandwich's fault). You're all tree to vote but, if approved, we can move on.
-
Relax, Twins. No hurt in talking about trades. I think the trade is fine, given the volume and salaries of the prospects, but TBD's concerns aren't unreasonable, since you're getting two MVP candidates, regardless of salary, for a group prospects that may never play in the majors.
-
Fwiw, Shark had a different owner last year than Frye's does this year
-
Eddie Rosario and Yulieski Gurriel for Mike Trout. That included an $86 loan.
-
Sharky, wtf are you talking about this is a little off? Let's review the trades you made last year and your $700 roster.
-
TBD, the year after? What am I left with next year from this trade? Do you think I'll cut JD and Betts next year to keep a $58 35 year old pitcher? Veto the fucking the trade, I don't really care that much. Honestly, I think Moose got the better end. Even with this trade I'm unlikely to catch TBD, and the net result is I'm out four truly high-end prospects.
Also TBD, this is not a redraft league, this is a dynasty league format. It is not all about this year or even next.
-
this seems a little off...like the drunk cash offers I quickly withdrew last week. Has someone been sipping on the ole granddad?

I appreciate the explanations. I questioned it because I wanted to know if the league thinks it is balanced. The traders are happy. Great. To me the swap of assets is not close to balanced. I think I'll say the same next year and the year after, but that's maybe just my bias against hyped prospects. I wanted to know what the league thinks. Yadi, thanks for weighing in. I hope no one is pissed off because I am not, except that maybe Yelich is already voodooed.
-
ALright here's my rational. He made an offer for Scherz, I said only if the deal included Alvarez. Got a no. A few days later we went back and forth with over half dozen variants. I got 4 of the top prospects in the game 2 SP and 2 OF to fill out my future roster. All were rated higher than Alvarez preseason and have MLB eta 2020. Maybe even late this year.
-
Moose got great value for this trade. Would anyone else have given more?
-
TBD, this is not a very good trade for me and a great trade for Moose. I obviously will not be able to keep Scherzer beyond this year. Doolittle will be a cut, Poche is not cheap for a setup guy and LeMahieu is in a crowded situation in NY and also may not be kept. Gore could very well be the #1 pitching prospect in all of baseball. Robert is a top five position player that just got promoted to AAA. Kirilloff is a top ten position prospect. Let's see what you think of the trade next year.
-
only the players listed on his trade block are available. Wonder what happened to that.

TBD, you didn't say how much of your 20 years experience was in Ottoneu, but in Ottoneu I have found trades of this type more the rule than the exception. Teams out of contention trade current stars (and pay their salaries) to contending teams for players they feel will make them stronger in future years. If anything this trade seemed to give the weaker team more in return for their stars than is usual. My one criticism is that Moose has posted on his trade block that
-
In 20 years of fantasy baseball I have never vetoed a trade, but this one is so one sided that I have to question it. I am new to the league, so I would like other owners to weigh in here on Moose giving up as much talent as he is as well as footing the bill for the whole deal. The Twins give up some nice prospects, but the return is not even close in my eyes. I cannot see the balance.
-
Ugh on Vlad! I saw similar with Wander Franco X 2 during the draft this year. Someone got the wrong guy for only a $1 at least.
-
This Austin Adams had the rotowire write-up for the "real" Austin Adams, so I guess they were fooled too.
-
HA! whats even better about it is that I actually have Austin Adams already!!! HA! I posted this guy in another leageu and then started looking at my other leagues and there he was. The news feed is for the other one, that's what I read when I posten him.
-
Something similar, but worse happened to me once during an auction. I thought I was bidding on Vlad Jr a few seasons ago, instead "I won" Vlad Sr. What fooled me was that it had Vlad Sr as a Blue Jay and I didn't remember him ending his career in Toronto. After the auction, when free agency began, I thought the league would let me obtain Vlad Jr., but no, I was outbid and lost him.
-
That's the wrong Austin Adams . . . unless you're looking for a real long shot.
-
Who's got some elite RP for me? Check out my trade block and let's talk...
-
Could Blake Snell have a do-over, please?
-
Of course Dwight Smith gets banged up just in time for trading, Dammit.
-
Not going to panic just yet

Tough week for Fryes Fries, Carrasco's troubles will shut him down for an unknown time and Cutch out for the season...
