Story with some late thunder. that should help negate Gray
-
That practice would work out a lot better if Dodger Stadium were my home park, as it was for much of my youth... LOL.
-
Because I always start pitchers who are playing in games that I'm attending in person.
-
Ngb , why start Gray at home vs. Hot Giants ?
-
3 up 3 out clean save for Kimbrell !
-
Munoz is "the best relief-pitching prospect in the game".
-
He was fun to watch against the Braves. I meant but forgot to bid, but wouldnโt have been competitive anyway.

I started said sweepstakes unaware that it was one, apparently
-
And KEVIN wins the Munoz sweepstakes
-
Any*
-
with the extreme heat and humidity , the next two months Wrigley will be playing like Coors basically . Not that Suarez needs and wind help, that is
-
HR robel garcia
-
with 11 $ contract, you can expect the wolves to come a callin
-
I was reluctant to trade him to you in the first place Fred, and never lost faith in him. However this year has been beyond even my expectations
-
and Brent was laying in the weeds all the while
-
he absolutely took off after that trade, and gave no sign all of last year or first 6 weeks of this year that he would ever have any slugging % . He was basically a LH hitting Joe Randa at best
-
We should start a support group for people that have traded Devers.
-
Oneill needs a good month of this hitting to make me feel somewhat better about the Devers trade ,
-
Wind is blowing our hard to center
-
Heโs no Ozzie vs the Cubs but heโs pretty good (and itโs a real sample). I was hoping the ivy leaguer was paying attention. With Snell@NYY and Fried@MIL (shouldnโt you be at this game?), I was counting on Hendricks to avoid HRs.

Hr Suarez,, I called it wow.
-
Oh no Cubs got the Reds , Suarez would be a 60$ player if he played the Cubs only. Bat ,look it up
-
But where were rockies bats?
-
Silver lining is the Rockies pitchers still have much better ERA's than Mark Reynolds now does!! They probably should have gone to position players pitching by about the 4th inning instead of waiting until the 9th. Hell, they should have put Bud Black out there for an inning, he probably still remembers how to throw batting practice as well as all the other guys they put out there.
-
19 to 2 at home to SF ?? Wow
-
17280 won it in 2015 , i have to belive 5 or 6 teams will surpass that number this year
-
Guys, itโs starting to look like Iโm not going to finish 2nd. Should I consider that a victory? At least celebrate the diversity?
-
Interesting factoid, Hader has given up just 17 hits all season...9 of them HR !
-
Also, you should do your counting where guys started from beginning of the year. Luis Robert started at high A this year, for instance
-
Again when I started there were few AA, most carried a couple close to majors guys
-
To answer an earlier question, it's 9 teams if you include Hi-A. I'm smiling.
-
Wasnโt Stats one of the 5 (Valera)?

Groshoms makes 6 , and thats a lot
-
Kimbrel will save 20 the second half. Nice try and underplaying it
-
Production would be irrelevant to the Double Helixes, theyโd just want the name.

Can confirm that Barreto is available, though he's not currently helping that cause.
-
Brew, I paid top value for that closer, he was part of the deal that sent Bregman and Buehler to Gravy. Kimbrel has looked pretty shaky so far, so he may end up helping Cotton more than he helps me.
-
I predict a Franmil HR
-
Braves @ SD....lot a talent on that field tonight wow..staying up for that one
-
Like Ngb needed a closer on a contender who will be in a lot of tight games..no fair
-
3 out save Kimbrell
-
Watching Crick give this game back to the Cubs, I had to check: yes, both Crick and Watson are available in this league. (And I bet โFranklinโ Barreto is available just for a high salary; unfortunately no Wilkins or even a Maurice in Otto-verse.) Too bad theyโre not a little better. A little surprised at who has them both in Capped, but itโs probably no accident.

Last minute sit of Strop...whew
-
I guess the Furniture Store is going with the "It has never ever happened" odds.
-
Checked on the history... only one no-hitter has ever been pitched at Coor's Field (Hideo Nomo in 1996), although Freeland came withing 2 outs of pitching one last season.
-
Glanced at the schedule, didn't see anything obvious (like all home games against the Dodgers, Cubs, Yankees, etc.). That span includes 25 home games including at least two series against weak hitting teams (Marlins and Cardinals).
-
So, a local furniture store is running a promotion that everyone's furniture purchases between August 12th and the end of the season will be free if a Rockies pitcher throws a no-hitter at Coor's Field during that time span. I'll have to check the Rockies schedule to see why that specific time span was chosen. Clearly an indication of how impossible that outcome is viewed by the Denver business community!!
-
When is HENRY going to cut bait and run and load up NGB ??
-
Its also first day get to use fatback Volgelsbach (the AL schwarber) in my lineup
-
Happy set your lineup again day, woohoo !
