I lost Kluber almost right after I traded youth to get him. Jeremy is entirely right about pitching. I traded Tallion to Brent , he was supposed to be back early May and now is missing all of 2020.

And I'm assuming you realize that Sale is on Cotton's team, but also assuming that you're thinking the Universe knocking Sale out was actually an act in favor of Cotton, i.e., addition by subtraction based on Sale's season.

Berrios is the Twins staff ace, and Gant can't even push Dakota Hudson's 2.96 ppip out of the Cardinals starting rotation... so yeah, I'd say Charles was way off base not to consider those two guys as equals, Mr. Haney.

Brew, So should the Cubs dump Quintana (4.39 ppip) and Darvish (4.12 ppip) to make room on the roster for Gant, or perhaps just dump Kimbrel (4.76 ppip) to make room in the pen for Gant's much better relief work?

Remember the outrage and indignation from Charles when I said basically Berios is the same as John Gant ? Berios is 4.35 ppi Gant is 6.38 ppi. Granted Gant is only RP this year, but still. Berios is that flashy name type player that people think is better than his reality. I bet he is thrown back.

Mikey, have you seen any local press on why Mountcastle is still sitting in AAA? He now has over 1,000 PA's at AA or higher... is it even possible that he's being blocked by Chris Davis?! Or should I say by Chris Davis' contract?

Are you sure? Wouldn't my cap used = $1,017 remain the same? All that would change is my cap penalties, which would come down from $26 to $17; and overall I'd be at $1,034 of $1,055 allocated.
