Yeah, of course. Though he might have had an opinion too.

Armando. Not the Big Cat

Also I wonder if Andres Gallaraga has a different idea about the worst rule that can take away a perfect game. Or has that rule been changed so that call could be reviewed now?

Thanks for the heads up. Was it ruled a passed ball or a wild pitch? I might be most amazed by how long it’s been since an Oriole had a no-hitter—how many of us were even alive for Palmer’s 1969 no-hitter? Maybe just Mikey and me?

What's even more amazing is I have Means in both leagues!
-
While I agree with the sentiment (about the ruling on it not being a perfect game), I absolutely agree with MLB's definition; a no-hitter is an amazing pitching feat, but a perfect game is an amazing team feat. Both have their own special place in history.
-
He has an imperfect perfect game. It's kind of weird that baseball has official rules about perfect games and no hitters.
-
Thanks for The heads up. I caught the ninth. They said the only reason it wasn’t a perfect game was because a strike out and passed ball put a man on first. That is the most terrible rule in sports taking away a perfect game.
-
John Means is about to take a Perfect Game into the 9th inning against the Mariners. It's the MLB.tv free game of the day, so you should be able to watch.
-
May tj surgery , Louis Robert out 12 to 16 weeks
-
FYI - JD Martinez is not old yet, he’s averaging 9ppg and is only $30 and I have him in outgoing trade offers if anyone is interested
-
Young. Garcia, Aguilar...who next ?
-
I still have some guys to cut :)
-
The good news for us active FA bidders is that Disco is finally out of money
-
if May gets a no hitter send a twelve pack
-
Yeah...if I thought he’d get 10 more starts against that lineup I may get start worrying about our bet.

Cease put up 62 last night, about time . 98 mph and devastating curve and he nibbles like Kyle Davies . Maybe seeing Kopech go right after hitters has shown him the light
-
The idea is that if a guy goes on the IL for an undisclosed reason it means a positive COVID test.

Brewers placed Corbin Burnes on the injured list.
-
Offers don't expire. If it's not accepted, rejected, or cancelled it's good until the trade deadline.
-
How long does it take for a trade offer to time out ? In other words , you make an offer and it's not rejected or accepted ?
-
That was a monster offer. $16 surplus with the Rizzo cut, too.
-
Thanks for the advice, Geddy Lee :)
-
True enough Fred. The No Action Alternative can be the preferred action. (for all those government wonks out there)
-
Brent , if you choose to not decide you still have made a choice
-
The Cubs you are seeing in Atlanta are the Cubs, a 78 win team tops
-
Also, I have a crazy busy day today, so if I don't respond till tonight, it's not because I'm ignoring you.
-
Ive seen too much of Burns as a Cubs fan , pinpoint control. Looks like Orel Hershiser
-
I got a monster offer for Burnes this morning and I'm finally beginning to believe that my hot start might be somewhat sustainable. That said, if you're interested in a $3 Burnes, shoot me some offers CI, SP, RP are needed.
-
Yeah, that was something. What a year it's gonna be in the NLW
-
What a great game and teams for the Sunday night game.
-
Uhh. I guess not.

Crazy that Padres let Weathers hit there. I guess they trust him in the bottom of the inning.

Henry, Kevin is very clever what guys he asks for in trades . Willing to take some risk for reward
-
That hr pissed May off. He was stomping around the mound like a maniac after those Ks.
-
Tatis just hit his 5th hr of the weekend , but was off May...do I cheer ? May got pissed and struck out the side ,however
-
This is so true. I heard of Patino about a month ago. Looked him up in the free agent tab and ... Kevin owned him.
-
Good grief I traded Patino and Manning for Gregory Polanco
-
Patino looked really good as the opener today for Tampa. Congrads Kevin, looks like you got another gem for your run for next year
-
The kopech - crochet combo start is nasty

I don’t know why Niv doesn’t just call them all Ps.

I actually never knew that, I assumed it was like batters and you could not slot them in sp if they were only rp .
-
It doesn’t matter what Otto calls him, right? “ v. All pitchers can be placed in either SP or RP positions on the lineup and roster organizer pages. However they will only accrue statistics if you use them in the same manner as their MLB team.” Do you even have Kopech?

Sox are using Kopech as SP opener for 2nd time , but Otto still has him as RP only. They are looking to get 3 or 4 innings out of him today , followed by same from Crochet
