  • Ha. Just got home and learned about it from your post here! Crazy. But I actually think it makes a ton of sense. Lame making bank and refusing to cover 1B for a partial season and I don’t think he was going to make a major difference whether or not they win this year. Hard to evaluate the return, but getting out of that contract could be the best part if they can land a prize in free agency. How’s the rest of the crowd here looking at it? BTW happy Father’s Day to all our dads!
